Just saw the video. He is an underrrated guitarist and this is yet another confirmation.

I don't like Prince, and didn't enjoy those eight minutes. At least he didn't get the 'three-song treatment' that Jagger and McCartney did, let alone a two-song treatment.

I guess he thinks he is better than everyone because he wouldn't come out at the end of the show for the "good bye" portion.

He went from keyboard to guitar... so after the first song? Not sure if he did one song or 3 songs... but it was all done as one song.

Well, he may be better than those two, but surely not keef or ronnie.

well usually the music guests play right around midnight and then again about 50 minutes later. prince only performed 1 time last night. maybe he had a prior commitment and left right after he performed 1 time

Funny to see Stones fans bashing Prince for not being a part of the ending wave. I suppose y'all were part of the group of viewers who protested to the BBC after The Stones didn't show up for the ending wave after they played on TV back in the '60's? I can't remember the specific show. I just remember reading about the "outrage" it caused. Was it Sunday at the Palladium, or something like that?

Peace,
Mr DJA

Do you think it might be a less complex reason, like perhaps he wasn't part of the main show, so after completing his performance he left for his next engagement?

No, because after spending a few days at rehersals with the case and the show ending at 1 AM I don't think it's anything more than him not wanting to be there. Also it looked like when Chris Rock said "I want to thank Prince" he turned his head as if he was looking for him...

If i find out that Prince had an after-hours show, then I will stand corrected.
