That's a milestone anniversary for couples in any walk of life, let alone rock 'n' roll. All respect goes to Charlie and congratulations to them both. You can't not love Charlie, which must be why he's the only one who never gets castigated on here!

Congrats Charlie & Shirley! My mom & Dad mad 50 years in 2013. My wife & I in 2057.
To Nicos: Dion (of the Belmonts) has been married to the same woman since 1963. Agreed that it's pretty amazing that they've managed to stay together for so long. Some how I have a feeling that the list won't be getting much longer.

I'm happy for them but saddened somehow by how old they are....damn, my grandparents seemed ancient when they celebrated their 50th. Am I the only one who thought the Stones would magically never grow old? peace
