Promising last words by Ronnie there. But why this loud background music and all these fast clips. It's a bit annoying. Are all these commercials made for people with ADHD?

Thanks for posting Bjornulf, great way to start the day! I love the shot at the beginning of Mick skipping out onto the stage and Keith says it all..."where our strength lies is, just being together." Yes, indeed.

This is the modern pop style. Remember the sideways MTV camera angles back in the 90s? Same thing but now with film burn fades, slow motion overuse and 2 second edits across the board. The casual fans with short attention are the target demographic and they can't watch anything longer than 45 seconds without freaking out. This is why I can't watch Hyde Park. Beautiful footage edited to where I can barely enjoy a single shot. Crowd pans and crane shots that move way too fast.. This is the hyper modern style.

Watching a modern concert film and then looking at Live In Texas or Let's Spend The Night Together really shows the power of holding a shot and letting the camera operator demonstrate his eye.

how great is that?
they said exactly what some
try to explain here since that
leg of the tour got started!

but i have to agree, those short promoclips
are cut in an annoying way. particularly
the slomos should be left out.

What a great tour this was!
Once again they created the old time unique excitement of a Rolling Stones Tour with sold out stadiums in minutes, with those fanatic fans arriving early in the morning to the stadium gates fighting for the front rows, with the cheering crowds around their hotels, etc.
And so many young people attended: the third or maybe the fourth generation.
The very first and the very last of this kind of rock and roll band as Bob Dylan once said.
Thanks God we got the sun, we got the moon and still we got The Rolling Stones!
How lucky we are!
Oh yeah!!!

and i remember the day after the Stockholm show, waiting for the band to leave the hotel.. It was Great Great. This was the first time in 41 years of being a fan, that i saw them leave their hotel. It was such a great gift, after a Great Show.
Cant wait for London 2015.

I like this video a lot but agree with others that the clips are way too short, although it does have the effect of giving the whole thing a very buzzy and happening feel. I can spot myself in two of the clips (using the pause button, obvs!) - in a shot showing Charlie outside the Vienna hotel and then by the rail in a shot of Waldebuhne filling up.

Suddenly everyone is optimistic about the Stones continuing on with touring indefinitely, when just a few days ago it seems everyone was resolved to accepting that this is the last tour and that it will all be wrapping up in the summer of 2015. So, which is it? Or are we just going to keep going up and down and back up again like the proverbial yo-yo?

one could insinuate that you're secretly hoping for them to wind down?

It was a great summer tour indeed, may be as great as No Security in 1999.

You could--but you'd be wrong.

I only caught my first show last year and would like to see another two or three.

I was merely questioning why everyone--including the moderator--was just last week on the "This is the last tour" kick, and now we're back to the "They'll tour until they drop" impression.

first: you'd have to have seen them this year. after May 26, that is.
second: what everyone seems to agree on is that it just might have been the last european tour.
(sorry about Ziggodome , Jeroen. they could do it as a one-nite-stand for Amsterdam)
