Any Jayhawks-fans out there? This is really a great band. In fact, Gary Louris played on a couple of early takes of Evening Gown.

I have two of their albums (Sound Of Lies and Hollywood Town Hall), but somehow I never really listened to them. I guess you just gave me a reason to.

Buy "Tomorrow The Green Grass". I can't beleive how many great songs there are on that record!

HTH is good as well. Sound Of Lies is one of their weakest albums.

I'll listen to HTH first this afternoon. I do know my cousin, who is also a big fan of the Stones, gave this one to me. Usuaselly he has a good taste of music, so you inspired me to actually listen to it smiling smiley

That's great smiling smiley

HTH takes a few rounds to grasp, but it's a great record.

OpenG,

That's an amazing setlist! Even a Byrds-tune. I don't have any Jayhawks-boots myself, but I'm getting the 2 releases "Live From The Women's Club I & II" soon. If you e-mail me, I'll mail you my list of boots (other artists).

One of these "forgotten" bands.
Hollywood Town Hall is one of the great albums of the 90's.
In 1994 or so I have seen them in Paradiso (A'dam), was really good.

I think I gotta go home and listen to this cd, before more people post positive posts and make me realise that I had it all along.

Thanks OpenG, you'll hear from me afterwards.

The rhythm is pretty much the same, but the minor chord is different - great song!

Louris and Olson is touring together, and Olson has asked to be back in the band again, so I guess Jayhawks-fans have a bright future smiling smiley
