I like that idea, except that I'm sure the Stones would find a way to jack up the price...Quote

couldn't the Stones release another DVD Box Set (is bound to come
in some way) this time with all the concerts? i'm thinking of just
taking the video that is fed live to the three jumbotrons and editing
it into widescreen? i seriosly consider the tour good enough that
no further editing will be required. perhaps a few birdview shots.

perhaps throw a few birdview shots and fan closeups in there.

4.7 GB is standard DVD quality for a recording of that time length.
In other words, 4.7 GB will allow only 30-40 minutes (roughly) of 1080p High Definition .
As far as a DVD goes,or really any physical disc, handle it only by the outer edges and center ring + do not touch the bottom surface and it will not become scratched .
Blu-ray discs have an extra layer of scratch protection compared to a DVD.
Also,if you only use digital files on a hard drive, card,or USB stick .... I would make sure that you have at least one back-up copy,if not two back-up copies.

They kind of played out the DVD release with the Hyde Park thing. There can't possibly be enough Stones audience to buy almost the exact same setlist from what is essentially the same tour.
You forgot 'Under the Boardwalk' with Aaron Neville from Philly! June 21, 2014.Quote

Why release almost the same thing as last year?
I would prefer something spanning over 2012-2014 instead with more rare songs:
This video collection would be great:
I Wanna Be Your Man (O2 Arena, 25/11/12)
Lady Jane (O2 Arena, 29/11/12)
Champagne and Reefer (O2 Arena, 29/11/12)
Around And Around (Newark, 13/12/12)
That's How Strong My Love Is (Echoplex, 27/4/13)
Love In Vain with Mick Taylor (Echoplex, 27/4/13)
No Excpectations (San Jose, 8/5/13)
Far Away Eyes (Staples Center, 20/5/13)
Sway (Staples Center, 20/5/13)
Can't You Hear Me Knocking (Staples Center, 20/5/13)
Shine A Light (Chicago, 31/5/13)
Memory Motel (Boston, 14/6/13
Angie (Abu Dhabi, 21/2/14)
All Down The Line (Oslo, 26/5/14)
Worried About You (Oslo, 26/5/14)
Rocks Off (Pinkpop, 7/6/14)
Waiting On A Friend (Waldbuhne, 10/6/14)
Streets Of Love (Rome, 22/6/14)
Like A Rolling Stone (Madrid, 25/6/14)
It's All Over Now (Wercther, 28/6/14)
Midnight Rambler (Stockholm, 1/7/14)
She's So Cold (Roskilde, 3/7/14)
No problem. We all have off-days! Just figured while we're talking about rare ones, might as well mention this one!Quote
