The last Italian concert setlist:

Jumping Jack Flash
It's Only Rock'n Roll
Oh No Not You Again
Let's Spend The Night Together
Tumbling Dice
Streets Of Love
Con Le Mie Lacrime
Midnight Rambler
Night Time Is The Right Time
--- Introductions
Before They Make Me Run (Keith)
Slipping Away (Keith)
Miss You (to B-stage)
Rough Justice
Under My Thumb
Honky Tonk Women (to main stage)
Sympathy For The Devil
Start Me Up
Brown Sugar
You Can't Always Get What You Want (encore)
Satisfaction (encore)

Wish I'd been at both. Eyes would have fallen out in Milan if I saw Mick and Keith arm in arm though back then. They almost did when I saw that pic today! smoking smiley

This is concrete, conclusive proof that someone made a deal with the devil.

Mick Taylor returns to perform with the Stones but, plays on "Streets of Love"
and not "Time Waits for No One" , "Heartbreaker" , "Shine a Light" etc. .

I would honestly rather hear him play on "Out of Tears" or "Too Tight" if
he wants to try his hand with modern material.

Thank God they've got John Mayer and GC Jr to always help them out on that song the fans go wild voting for, it's not like they've got anybody sleeping backstage who might be able to handle iteye rolling smiley

Yes, it was a wondeful moment when Mick and Keith were hugging each other. In fact it was quite common throughout the show! A hand on a shoulder here, a smile there, a pat on the back over there. Wonderful stuff.

Streets of Love sounded really good. The Italians seemed to know the chorus really well so it was a perfect inclusion.

My fave song of the night was Miss You. For some reason the Italians know this one really well. They were singing the tune to it for most of the day! I love how you can go to different parts of the world and the reaction to the songs are so different. I forget sometimes that people dont all speak English so the set choices really are important.

Anyway, great gig. Now im off home for a few days then on to Belgium!

LOL, don't you just love their sense of humor!

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

Yes, at Rome 2007, they tried selling seats (no pit)....it was a madhouse...everyone from the back bleachers running down and taking over aisles on the floor. i ended up abandoning my seat in 2nd row to grab a rail spot

Very nice! What number is that, though?
They normally use that black&white photo background in the early part of the show,
but the Glimmer Twins state looks like a later number.

Yes - thank you. Apologies for asking a question that had already been answered!
I thought Keith uses a Gibson on LStNT, but ... okay, wrong again! :E

Setlist looks like it has a few gems.... I am actually interested in hearing Streets of Love! Never thought I'd say that.

Sounds like the audience had a blast, judging from the video above smiling smiley

Got back to the hotel very late. After few hours of rest I can only say that the show was good ad usual. I am not intrested to remark if htw was better in paris rather than Lisbona etc etc, what i like of this band is that their level is high since 52 years, and that they play with pride and dignity. A testa alta, as we say in italy. i don't think it is easy, and it costs a lot of efforts and energies. So, once again, thank you Stones!

Love it.

Thanks for the link, pretty shambolic though with Mick "flat" in the beginning, he even goes back to Chuck to get it back on track it seems. Nice solo by Ronnie but Mayer's solo isn't as striking as in Newark where he played a bit of the "Help Me Rhonda" style of "surf guitar" ;-)

Mick has hearing problems in the beginning, but gets it back on track during the first verse.

The pit was not the same as the arena pit, that's for sure, but it was a lot cheaper.

In the past Mick played guitar on SOL, but not yesterday, that's why MT played guitar on it. Without Blondie Chaplin that song needs another guitar. Specially if Keith plays acoustic.

Life is strange. Last time in Rome in 2007 the stadium was 50% empty, i could have never imagined that in 2014.....

I've tried to listen to John Mayer but I think he is the most overrated musician (apart from Coldplay) going around. If the Stones needed another special guest Mick T would've run rings around Mayer!

I didn't read 9 pages so apologies if it's been said...
SOL is not such a big surprise in Italy. It was all over the TV there as Vodafone used it in their advertising and it was a hit (it might even have made #1?)
And as for the song I like it...in the rain in Sheffield in '06 it was just great

Back then they had played Italy just a few months prior to that concert. Before this show your country had to wait for seven years smiling smiley

Moreover, the organization in 2007 was a total failure. The tickets were overprised and there was a seating chart even on the pitch!

Each to their own. I think john Mayer is an outstanding musican. Mind you, there are people out there that don't like the stones. What a funny world we live in.
