Wild Horses - top 5 live versions

Thanks to the generous peoplew here I have been able to get great Stones boots both on audio and video.

However, as a relative newbie, I want to ask for advice:
I love Wild Horses, what are the top 5 live versions available on good sounding boots? I know the track is played rather infrequently and the takes I have on Flicks oe from around that timeare either butchered by a presence of a guest vocalist or by Mick.

Wild Horses live :

1) Knebworth - August 21st , 1976 ( This footage was on Rolling Stones.com 2 or 3 years ago. )

2) North Carolina - October 8th , 2005 ( There is no recording in circulation which does it justice. )

3) Baltimore - February 1st , 2006

4) Marseille - July 5th , 2003 ( There IS a pretty good recording of this in circulation if I recall correctly. )

5) New Jersey or Toronto or Winnipeg - August of 1994

Honorable mention :

* The versions from the 1975 tour,of course.

* Philadelphia - September 18th , 2002

* '14 On Fire - ( Sometimes )

* Stripped - Quite Well Known Version

* Olympia Theatre in Paris - July 3rd , 1995

I am not mentioning all of the versions with guest vocalists >>>> Sheryl Crow on November 6th , 2002 / Eddie Vedder on September 28th , 2005 / Dave Matthews on December 12th , 1997 etc. .

"Wild Horses" is rumored to have been performed a few times on the short 1971 tour but,no recordings have surfaced.

I will try to post the Toronto 1994 version in the 'Hot Stuff' section within the next couple of days. I have that one right next to me. The others are probably boxed-up in storage.

The Knebworth performance is still on Daily Motion. Truly a great moment for Ronnie in this one...

I like in general the '75 versions due to the extended and impressive solos Ronnie did back then.

Will vouch that Toronto August 19 1994, the only Wild Horses I ever witnessed, was a good one. L.A. July 13/75 is good. Agree the Knebworth version is pretty good

Keith totally RUINS the Knebworth version!!! Just awful wailing! I have heard some much better versions myself!

The unedited L.A. Friday version - the edit being the removal of Keith hitting the b-minor instead of the a-minor going into the chorus before Ronnie's excellent final solo. I always found that wrong chord from Keith endearing! All in all it's my favorite live version of WH.

Have heard most versions, and for me, the '75 renditions (pick any night), are the strongest.

Is there a recording available of that concert better than the "fair" quality audience recording ??

What I meant was that the recording which I heard does not make clear the quality of the performance.

"Wild Horses" as well as a handful of other songs were performed very well that night.

Maybe I am unaware of an 'upgrade' recording ??

Anyway,are there any 1975 performances of "Wild Horses" which you recommend besides the popular L.A. version ??

Does anyone have a favorite 1975 version of "Wild Horses" besides the one from Los Angeles ??

My fav is from this boot here

A partial recording of the last show in NY 75.

Truly a great great version of Wild Horses (and Angie, for what matters). Love the electric arrangement, Keith's riff (basically nicked from the solo on the studio version), the "phased" tele, Ronnies WONDERFUL guitarwork.

I always wondered if it was sped up, because it is in G# / Cm instead of G / Bm, until I saw the Knebworth video - actually Keith was using a capo.

I always loved the one on "Who went to church this Sunday," But - for obvious reasons the one last year in NYS after the Sandy Creek shootings was especially poignant.
