This is it. It isn't going to get any better.

But I like it!

Well after X decades of loud rock and roll, mine aren't in primo shape, so perhaps I'm less picky. grinning smiley

I just wanted to mention that I did searches under a few headings and I could not find the topics that led me to start this thread. I well recall reading quite a few posts that were not tolerant that the Stones were still rolling and suggested that the glory days are over and that instead of embarrassing themselves on stage they should pull the plug. This did not sit well with me - too many people are still getting their kicks because the Stones are still playing. Granted, they are well past the days of glory, but to still be putting on energetic shows at their respectve ages is amazing. I can't walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded, so in this respect they put me to shame. I also appreciate all the comments presented in an intelligent and nonconfrontive style even though some had different perspectives. My total respect to you!

Aquamarine, are you seriously arguing such a ridiculous point, comparing Marcel Proust's 'A la Recherche du Temps Perdu', begun at the age of 38, with the nearly 71 year old Sir Mick Jagger singing 'I Can't Get No Satisfaction'?

If so, I truly despair of you.
