I've always wondered, who played the steel drums in Loving Cup? They're never mentioned.

People assume Jimmy Miller, but he is not credited. Theres also a uncredited (if I recall correctly) female background singer on Loving Cup thats (buried) under Keiths backup.

Well, if steel drums count as 'percussion' then Jimmy Miller is credited. I wouldn't consider them 'percussion'.

They are percussion, in rock and roll everything except a drum kit that you hit, tap or shake is percussion.

All this talk of steel drums is giving me a hankering for a Pina Colada.

I almost love it more with the fact that Keith's southern france basement double album opera was just as much a pragmatic FU to Klein over rights to song ownership.

Isn't that what they call "chromatic percussion"?

Vibes are percussion, Xylophone and Tympani as well. They all have notes. In fact drummers and engineers tune the snare drum as well as the other drums to have a sympathetic harmonics to the song being recorded. Jimmy Miller would have certainly done this.

Yeah, but it's a bit like crediting guitarists with "strings".
