I follow a number of musicians on Facebook and so far the musician who posts the most is Burton Cummings from The Guess Who. He posts mostly about music he admires and grew up with, real interesting

Peter Frampton, but he's so insipid I dumped him. He lectures his fans for getting up during a song. leaving early or not applauding enough. Still one great guitarist and singer though.

A bit obscure but Morrissey's long-time guitarist Boz Boorer is on Facebook. Just search his name. I contacted him after Morrissey played Dallas a few years ago to ask him about his Gibson Firebird. He told me his favorite Stones album is Sticky Fingers.

He is Morrissey's live musical director...so I asked him to suggest that Morrissey cover Moonlight Mile.

Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe has been fairly active at times, putting up some photos and stories (he takes lots of pics himself).

There are many, but I suspect most are run by their management.

Saw Burton this past winter and he was phenomenal. He has a ton of great hits from the Guess Who days and his solo. His voice didn't have the same rasp but man can he sing. Listening to his songs he could rock to "American Woman" and then switch to jazz with "Undun" really worth a listen to those who may have overlooked.

Darryl Jones and Mick Jagger posts themselves.

Earl Slick, Gail Ann Dorsey, Pat Leonard and Mike Garson from the David Bowie-camp, are all active on Facebook and puts up some nice things.

Roger Waters is also active, mainly on political topics and Nick Mason comments are very funny, when he posts about Pink Floyd.

Not facebook, but worth following on twitter is James Blunt. He has many haters.

RT @KOGAXWOLF: I wanna go see James Blunt so I can call him a faggot and throw a soda at him
@JamesBlunt: I’m on a US tour now. Tickets available online.

RT @mattyblackett: does james blunt have a vagina?
@JamesBlunt: If I did I would never go out.

RT @chickenoriental: I must be 1 of only 2 who genuinely likes every @jamesblunt song. The other person being him.
@JamesBlunt: Nope, you're on your own.

Ha ha...... Some people may knock his music, but James Blunt is without doubt the funniest/coolest guy on twitter.

Even when being interviewed his answers are always very sharp and very funny, with some great stories of his time as Captain James Blunt, Tank Commander in the British army.

Cant find the full video, but here he is on Top Gear

What a drag it is gettin' old

Mike Nesmith posts some wonderfully philosophical ramblings. James Williamson (Stooges) posts alot, and seems like a very down to earth guy.
