Mick Taylor x 3, In Vasa Finland, Stockholm and Gislaved Sweden.
A very nice guy, he even came to our table for a chat after the gig in Vasa.
After the gig in Stockholm he signed everything we asked for, even bootlegs!
And when he recognized us on stage in Gislaved he said "-Oh some old friends of mine, the musicologists!"

I met Ronnie at his art exhibit at Govinda Gallery in Washington, D. C., in 1988. He was so sweet and kind, very humble. I'll never forget it.

MT after a San Fran gig a few years back. talked for a few minutes. very congenial.

RW after the Peter Wolf release party that happened 9/8/02 after the Boston Orpheum gig. He stopped to shake hands with my buddy and I before gettin' in the limo with Jo.

RW again last year on my birthday in SF at the art gallery. He commented on my button-down rs tongue shirt.

...brief, but memorable....

Met and chatted with MT, BW and RW.

Autograhps (some at the catwalk in 98 and 2003) by all of them except BJ, who seems to be dead. Shook hands with all of them.

I feel blessed;-)

Met mick taylor at the palomino club in L.A. before he did his show there...not very charming by any means...gave me the dead fish (english) handshake....met keith about 2 months later there along with bobby keys and the rest of the winos....this was '93...ran into bernard fowler at a strip club in 97' after they'd played 3 rivers stadium in pittsburg...both he and keith were very generous guys to speak to about music..by the way, keith shook hands like he meant it

LoL, Aucoin! And how is Hell?
Maybe we should get a definition of "met". FXc1, how did you swing that?

"Met" (in no particular order) Ron, Keith, Mick, Mick Taylor, Sugar Blue, Darryl, Bill Wyman.

Was heading into a liquor store to score some more Guiness in Diamond Heights in the ritzy hill district of The City when Mick came out of Ernies (Famous SF restaurant in the day) Owner of the store got him to sign a couple bottles of something. I just stood and stared.

My brother used to mow Bobby Keys lawn back in the late seventies in the canyon near LA.

Indeed he did. Keys lived in Topanga Canyon (near where I grew up)
in about 1979 or 1980. A record store owner near there told me
he came in all the time.
AS for meeting the Stones:
Met Taylor many times (very guarded and seemed to be in
a bad mood. Maybe it's shyness....or maybe he didn't like ME!)
Ronnie (very nice, talked about amps)
plus...
Mac (many times. Great guy. A pleasure to talk to).
Nicky Hopkins (great guy. God rest his soul).
Bobby Keys (backstage after a gig he did with Mac and Mitch Mitchell,
whom I also talked to. Both really nice guys).
Got within 5 feet of Keith at the Hail Hail and Roll premier out here in LA.
Black jeans, black jacket, and green boots. Very cool indeed.

I met Mick Taylor briefly at the Festival Hall last year but I met Ronnie at his exhibition in London last year and got to chat to him for ten minutes. I had to pinch myself as I walked around the gallery with him and he was explaining when and where he had done them

Not really a meeting, but I was 1 meter away when Keith, Ron and Bill left the Rotterdam Hilton Hotel (through the kitchen door!) and got in their van for the opening show of the 1982 Euro tour. It was a great moment, just me and a friend and 3 or 4 others. I remember being stunned actually seeing them! We bothe said happy birthday for Ron and Charlie and they gave us a big grin. I more or less lost contact with that friend, but met him at the Vredenburg show in 2003 and the first thing we said was 'do you remember the Hilton?'.
