Not sure about anything, but IMHO Charlie's "YES" at the PC for stopping touring is not to be taken too seriously. Charlie speaks hardly in a microphone, and when he does, it sounds like primal scream.

In a 1994 or 1997 PC, I remember reading he just shouted a huge "NO" when questioned about Darryl. Period. His speaking are more ike art performance, always eccentric, even at the Stones level. In Paris Olympia, 2003, when harassed by the band to say something on stage, he cracked "I want to sing, but they don't let me".

Of course, this doesn't mean he is not tired, or that he does not want to retire. But taken too seriously, this unprepared "YES" would be a too rude coming out for his 43 year-or-so mates,

In future they will set up residency at places like MSG and the Albert Hall, and charge more than the earth to get in.By then of course they will be taking alternative forms of payment.Eg Sign over your house or car for x number of shows maybe.

It's never the last tour, (just the never-ending publicity about it being so) both Keith and Mick have said: "they will continue till they drop, like the old Bluesmen." Charlie too has said as much, and said it is up to Keith and Mick when they go on tour, "they are the ones who decide," says Charlie.

Every few years THE STONES must replenish their coffers, NEVER the Last Time, trust me.
