How is Dusseldorf as a city? Worth checking out? A couple of german girls asked why I was going there, with huge questionable faces.
They said, go to the show and keep travelling.

Dusseldorf pre party? Wednesday 18 June at Brauerei Uerige in Altstadt??
Some of the folks we met in Zurich mentioned this...
Yes. But there is no specific party. We want to meet there. But since not everybody can be early enough there to eat together, you better eat something before meeting up with us. We choosed the corner Brauerei Uerige and Killepitsch store/bar as a meeting point. Everybody in the Old Town can tell you the way to get there. You can drink a beer there while waiting outside the Brauerei Uerige, but stay more to the side where the Killepitsch store is. So we can have a look for people wearing Stones Shirts... . We maybe move from there to Ratingerstrasse (only short walk) or else where we don't know by now. Someone (Stones Shirt) will go back to pick up people there on 7, 8, 9 and 10 pm. If it's raining you can go inside the Brauerei, but have a look on 8,9.. or .. you know what I mean. Please send me an email(my profile) if you like

Definetly wrong. Dusseldorf has a great old town with lots of pubs, breweries and restaurants. Perfect place to meet before and after the show. You can actually walk down the river Rhine from there to the venue (takes about 45 minutes). It´s just not that famous as Cologne, Munich or Berlin for example. Visit the Rhine Tower to get a perfect overview or take a boat trip on the Rhine. Especially on thursday, which is a holiday in Germany, you will be surprised how many people are gathering in the streets of the old town to have a beer or ten, should be even more than usually this time because of the concert.

Just like the previous poster said. Great old town, beautiful city. Perfect for one or more pre- and after-show beers.
Btw, Düsseldorf ranks 6th amongst the cities with the highest quality of life worldwide:

Definitely spend some time there!

I will say you guys sold me on the city. Next time I'm in Germany I'll definitely check out Düsseldorf perhaps coupled with a visit to Köln. I only got as far as the airport for my connection to and from Berlin.
