Hi keefed,

maybe this is useful for you:
It's the local transport company in Düsseldorf.
If you stay in a hotel I think they also can help you to find a way 'home' after the concert.

Found a better link:

There you can choose an address, i.e. Artusstrasse as starting point.

take a taxi from the stadium

Will it be easy to get a taxi after he show ?

Shouldn´t be a big problem in airport direction, because everybody who will continue the night in the city will take the train which goes directly from the venue.

How is Dusseldorf as a city? Worth checking out? A couple of german girls asked why I was going there, with huge questionable faces.

They said, go to the show and keep travelling.

Definetly wrong. Dusseldorf has a great old town with lots of pubs, breweries and restaurants. Perfect place to meet before and after the show. You can actually walk down the river Rhine from there to the venue (takes about 45 minutes). It´s just not that famous as Cologne, Munich or Berlin for example. Visit the Rhine Tower to get a perfect overview or take a boat trip on the Rhine. Especially on thursday, which is a holiday in Germany, you will be surprised how many people are gathering in the streets of the old town to have a beer or ten, should be even more than usually this time because of the concert.

Dusseldorf pre party? Wednesday 18 June at Brauerei Uerige in Altstadt??
Some of the folks we met in Zurich mentioned this...

Yes. But there is no specific party. We want to meet there. But since not everybody can be early enough there to eat together, you better eat something before meeting up with us. We choosed the corner Brauerei Uerige and Killepitsch store/bar as a meeting point. Everybody in the Old Town can tell you the way to get there. You can drink a beer there while waiting outside the Brauerei Uerige, but stay more to the side where the Killepitsch store is. So we can have a look for people wearing Stones Shirts... . We maybe move from there to Ratingerstrasse (only short walk) or else where we don't know by now. Someone (Stones Shirt) will go back to pick up people there on 7, 8, 9 and 10 pm. If it's raining you can go inside the Brauerei, but have a look on 8,9.. or .. you know what I mean. Please send me an email(my profile) if you like
smileys with beer

Happy to hear that Anastasia60 and Heartbreaker (?)will join us.

At 7pm a Stonesfan Lady, Sabine, will wave with a huge Stones pillow..(no joke) at the corner Killepitsch/Uerige. Not waving but you know what I mean..at 8, 9 and 10 someone will look after other fans.

I am from Zurich and I like Duesseldorf very much.

Just like the previous poster said. Great old town, beautiful city. Perfect for one or more pre- and after-show beers.
Btw, Düsseldorf ranks 6th amongst the cities with the highest quality of life worldwide:

Definitely spend some time there!

I will say you guys sold me on the city. Next time I'm in Germany I'll definitely check out Düsseldorf perhaps coupled with a visit to Köln. I only got as far as the airport for my connection to and from Berlin.

In my opinion Dusseldorf has the best German Beer. Uerige is my favorite, followed by Schumacher. The river and old town is very nice as well with plenty of interesting restaurants. Hope to see some fellow iorrians there. Have fun everybody.

What's that??? Oh no!
The posters of this tour getting worse and worse.
At the beginning of this tour they were great (Oslo, Lisboa, later Tel Aviv) but then Berlin, Vienna and now...

BTW: Tickets still available: [www.ticketmaster.de]

For those without a ticket: I think there will be no problem to get one at the arena for a fair price.

About 240 offers on ebay: [www.ebay.de]
