OT: How do I hear it first? (sold out Pearl Jam...)

Friends!
I am currently frustrated because again I missed the chance to get Pearl Jam tickets when they went on sale. Same goes for other bands. I just hope that I get it right for the Stones.
But: How do I hear a tour announcement (eg. Stones or anyone) first without checking the internet ALL THE TIME. Is there an app for my phone? E-Mail-Alert worldwide? I have the stones app but didn't get a message that they announced Belgium and Holland.

Bands in town is a nice app which works often well - I recommend it.

At Eventim there's a Ticket Alarm, something similar on Ticketmaster.
Did you refresh the News in the Stones App?

I refreshed the stones app and the news shows. But how do I make it to push news to my iPhone?
And band in town is nice, only it doesn't show the 2 first European dates of the Stones tour that is about to hit Germany hard.

Well I visit concerts in the UK & in Belgium.
So I follow all the interesting venues in those countries and ticket sellers like ticketmaster, eventim, livenation, etc...

I've never not been able to get good tickets for a show using AMEX Front of the Line.
I'm not sure they reserve the best seats, but it's a chance to buy the tix before they go on sale to the public, and if you don't get them, you still have a second chance with everyone else two days later.
Some how through the years I've gotten on lists of several other 'local' companies offering presales, and when I take advantage them, they also always have worked out.
Live Nation is one of them, although I know they're far from being 'local'.
