He speaks the "uncomfortable truth". The USA has gone "PC overboard".

God Bless You

If they're not consumer goods, how come I can still buy Some Girls on Amazon?

Or does that mean that downloading illegally (=for free) is okay then by Savagean principles? Wait a minute, that's more StonesTod's field...

That's the problem with the US, or USA, or whatever you want to call it - "God" being mentioned in any of it. Easily replaced with Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny... human made inventions.

God Bless American. This great country was created based on Christian-Judaic principles, which I guess you may not share. That's OK though. God Bless

Uh, it wasn't founded on or under or about Christianity by any means. To this day the US is not a christian country. Otherwise there would be no homeless starving people.

Besides, there's nothing in the Constitution about this "god" you talk about, yet alone religion, that Jesus fella or any invented 'supreme being'.

However...

The L.A. Kings will win game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals and win the NHL Championship and be NHL Champions.

USA is most certainly a Christian country. Why so silly?

Plus Declaration of Independence mentions our Creator. God Bless America.

It's not. Just accept it. People say they are but they truly aren't.

Not as christianity but as deist beliefs. There's a big difference. Besides, the DOI has nothing to do with the Constitution nor any laws.

Rangers had their chances. They were up by two goals in each of the first two games and won neither.

Don't understand the strange hatred for NYC from people in NYS. You would rather root for a team from California than a team in your own state? Must be a New York thing.

"Lyin' awake in a cold, cold sweat. Am I overdrawn, am I going in debt?
It gets worse, the older that you get. No escape from the state of confusion I'm in.

Rangers lost handily. Got TROUNCED!

Glad it's done. NHL goes way too long now. It's like baseball - it's essentially pointless.

trounced is an exaggeration...3 overtime games..the Rangers came within in inch of winning last night's game in overtime...one game was a trouncing (3-0 Kings)...the rest could've gone either way...p.s. im not a Rangers fan or a Kings fan or a big Hockey fan...that last game was incredibly exiting

It's the same way that northern CA fans feel about southern CA fans. But most So CA fans I know will go for the California team....keep in mind, northern Californians resent that So Cal is part of their state.winking smiley

Oh well sure, overtimes. But 4-1? That's a beat down. Not like in the 1980s or 1990s but in today's NHL... considering how many series went to game 7...

I remember when the Kings and the Golden Seals were the laughing stocks of the league and a west coast trip meant an opportunity for a team to pick up an easy 4 points and lots of fun....still not easy to adapt to thinking that LA has won 2/3 last years...put some sun screen on that Stanley Cup...
