Around & 'round would suit perfectly with the - seemingly - new rockier & even more rollier attitude... From 1964 (1st recorded in -62, in fact the very 1st song ever recorded by the Stones) and The Rolling Stones/12*5
(Chuck Berry)
They say the joint was rockin'
Goin' round and round
Yeah reelin' and a-rockin'
What a crazy sound
And they never stopped rockin'
Till the moon went down - - -
A cover block with A & 'r; She Said Yeah (Roderick/Christy/Jackson) from December´s Children 1965, That´s How Strong My Love Is (Jamison) from Out Of Our Heads 1965, Time Is On Our Side (Meade) from 12 * 5 1964/1965, If You Need Me (Bateman-Pickett) from Five By Five /12*5 1964 plus Little Red Rooster Single/The Rolling Stones Now from 1964/1965 & Little Queenie (Berry) recorded in 1962, studio version never released... now t h a t would be something...
- ......Ok, now I have switched to wishes for the tour again, but whatever, when I am on that trail... Why not some own, old, half-forgotten material like Blue Turns To Grey from December´s Children (one of Bill´s favorites), Tell Me (You´re Coming Back) from the 1964 single (in fact the first song ever released by the Stones), Heart Of Stone from The Rolling Stones - Now! (first recorded in 1964, relased on LP in US 1965, on Metamorhposis 1970) - This block could be completed with the little later Jiving Sister Fanny from 1969. I could go on for the rest of the night and a good part of tomorrow but I won´t take up your time nor Keith´s space here...
