P&3EG played two shows at the Electric Ballroom last night, one early evening and one late evening.
The queue was monstrous for both; to get in entailed a circa 5 to 7 hour wait outside.
However the tickets were only £10.00, cash on the door, no wristbands.
The first show was amazing, the second show was on a whole different level and blew the door off the O2 Indigo club shows in 2007 (everyone was saying this), even though the dude had jetlag (go figure that one).
The second show was really different and longer, with the second half comprised of a medley of hits and prime cuts we didn't get on the first show.
Can't imagine how good this is gonna get once they have a few more shows under their wings.
This is very much the rock incarnation of P, with only smatterings of the pop and straight funk of NPG.
If you like your guitars loud and screaming THIS is the band for you.
Cheers,

OMG. I am living in Tokyo but now heading to London.
This is from Tokyo airport.
Fingers crossed another show on Tuesday or Thursday night.
I don't mind queuing 5 or 7 hours.
Most of Japanese can not see his show since 2002.

Great clip. Sounds like a cross between Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. I'm diggin' on this.

This is not a new P song, but the title track from his lesser known album of the same name from 1996.
The album is not available on an official format anymore. P really needs to sort out his back catalogue, but is probably too fixed on the present to care.
And for those wondering, his Shepherd's Bush Empire gig easily surpassed the already jaw-droppingly lofty heights of his second gig at the Electric ballroom last week.
