I agree but that was recorded in 1974...But that was also the time that Ronnie was working
on his own solo album which Jagger, Keith and Mick Taylor helped with..
So I think Bill just has the date off....March of 74..

Don't take his site as gospel.
I know you know that, but just saying.

The song "It's Only Rock and Roll" is his first contribution, I think. Though Keith wiped his licks and replaced them with his own. Probably recorded in late 73.
And of course Wood had Jagger and Richards on some of his solo albums. There was a period in the early 70s when Wood played with a bunch of people like Clapton, Townshend, even David Bowie:

It’s Only Rock’n Roll --- Its hilarious how many of the best Stones tunes do not have Bill Wyman on them. Seems like he often was not around when the magic happened.

Don't be silly. Keith has missed only a handful of songs, all minor parts of the canon. Moonlight Mile being a possible exception.

sounds like a Springsteen tune sung by David Bowie backed by the Faces.

Keith too it seems. Just like on Sway, Winter, Moonlight Mile, Stop Breaking Down.
And Bills riff for Jumpin Jack Flash was pretty magical.
But yes, Keith overdubed a lot. Even Ronnie missed out on his own song here. However I doubt he was flown in for the session, just as Bowie wasnt.

What a strange song. It sounds like a Springsteen tune sung by David Bowie backed by the Faces.

Keith is on Sway...
Ronnie didn't miss out. One of his guitars is still on the recording.
I'm pretty sure Bill was talking about the intro or the instrumental bridge (which he plays on), and not the riff...
