Some very nice ones there, and mostly properly identified/attributed - thanks!
They've misidentified someone as Alexandra, but ... well, worse things happen at sea, I guess :E

Any reports on how Keith may have spent his Bday? A party? Dinner at home with family? A vacation to the islands?

if i read one more "keith is still alive!!" story ....

how my favorite musician allowed himself to become this caricature of the ultimate burnout drug addict i'll never know.

keith never did nearly as many drugs as the image portrayed.he was only on junk off and on for about 5 or 6 years and was never messed up enough that he stopped playing live or making records.
the "image" is a bunch of hack journalists looking at a guy with messy hair and eyeliner and trying to outdo each other describing how "out of it maaan"keith was.
most of his age lines are from smoking, being in the sun and being really thin.

eric clapton lived basically the same life and is known and respected for his musicianship and people dont act like he's this freakshow every time he has a birthday-i'll never understand why keith played up that crap.

Perhaps due to Clapton getting sober about 20 years ago while Keef was still doin coke untill he fell out of the tree in 2006! Still drinking too as far as I know.

and he was doing it in very moderate amounts, nothing like the "after a nuclear war the only thing left alive blah blah blah bullshit you read about.

why do i know this? because if you do large quantities of cocaine for a long period of time, especially at an advanced age your arteries will restrict, you will have a heart attack and die.

if you drink copious amounts of alcohol for a number of years you will get cirrosis of the liver,it will fail and you will die.

anyone who thinks being a famous rockstar is somehow an exemption to this is probably in jr high school and also not paying attention in science class.

Here is Keith's response to the birthday wishes, in case you didn't see.

I commented on Facebook (where this was posted) I was glad he had
a great bday and anniversary and also feel kinda left out, since I'm
a straight woman and therefore don't have "wives." And guess what??
KeithRichards.com cleansed the comments, and deleted mine -- sheesh!

ah well, here he is - he looks well.

Cool, though he seems to be talking a little slower from usual there. Interesting that he also mentions his 30th wedding anniversary.
