For those who fly into Hong Kong airport please note that you do not go into Hong Kong immigration but you go directly to the Macau fast ferries. Thanks to my good friend who informed me about this when we meet in Japan. It went smooth through HK and to Macau, but it took all day. Up 6am Tokyo, flight 10am, 5 h flight, ferry 1 hour, shuttle etc, more like a 12 hours operation. But this is Macau!
If you go back to HKG airport at the same way, I mean without through Hongkong immigration, you can get refund some airport service fee.
I arrived at Guangzhou, biggest city in south China.
Guanzhou has my most favourite dimsum restaurant and Macau is 3.5 hours away by express bus.
So I am going to have morning tea and best dimsum breakfast, then head to Macau tomorrow.
Like reading a book, a story I wish I was in. I too look forward to hearing about the continuing adventures of The Rolling Stones and their fans.Quote

I would definitely be upgrading myself to one of those VIP reserve blocks either side of the stage, if I were you, mandu. Yesterday it was possible to buy eight seats in a single row, so am sure there should be some free seats there. Look at cotaiticketing to see what sort of seats are available so you have an idea of where to head for. Good luck!

When I try to access this thread (and only this thread) I get warnings about "problems with the security certificate for this site". Last Post, however, is OK.
Anyone else having this problem?

I never heard from Mandu, so if any long time IORR members are in Macau and would like to upgrade to a pit ticket, please POST IN THIS THREAD and send me an email. No charge but we need to communicate so that I can issue a Letter of Authorization to pick up the ticket from the Cotai Ticketing counters in the Venetian. I don't want it to go to waste. First post gets it, but please only if you are going to use it personally.
