That's like asking if you can change your life and become someone else.

Changing your IORR name is like reincarnation: You have to die--or be killed off--and then come back as someone else.

Some IORRians are like cats, with 9 lives at least.

Myself, I'm in my second IORR life at the moment, just now coming of age. But who knows? I could take a wrong step somewhere at the corner of Thread Street and Forum Avenue and get hit by a "bus", just get blind-sided, as happened once before in my former IORR life.

One time, DD e-mailed personally and inquired about relocating to S. Florida. He wanted my insight on living costs, which I kindly obliged. I offered to help, financially or whatever was needed. He never responded. If memory serves correctly, the last I heard of him was when he went to France.

I didn't know his age, agenda, personally or even his medical status. All I know is that he included me in his dogmatic, blood lathed loyalty to the Stones & other members of this website. Speculation leads me to believe that

A. He was simply deteriotating from age (such as myself)
B. He was simply mentally ill.

I don't know - and I guess we will never.

Chris ,I opened a thread called RIP Helter/Crisscrossedmind when his girfriend called me to tell me he died.
I was often in touch with him by mails and phone calls.
I won't go into the personal sides of his life but I still miss him a lot.

It's not possible to "delete" ones account and then make a new one, so what you have to do is simply to swap username and password with some of us others. Rockman, for instance, is a friendly and helpful guy, so you could ask him. Or Nicos.

Well you can't have mine, but here's an idea. Why don't you offer up your ticket to see the Stones in exchange for someone elses's user name. I bet you'd get some offers.

Seriously, Lazzzybones, BeggersFingersSoup, whatever you go by...might I suggest that you just relax about it and post under your current user name? Some things aren't worth fighting. We certainly all know you by now as one or the other, or both.

Just add a signature to go at the end of each post, saying "Please address me as . . . " Then you're covered both ways!
