I'd say this list is my dream list TOO MUCH BLOOD SITTIN' ON A FENCE SOUL SURVIVOR CHILD OF THE MOON OUT OF TIME DANDELION FOOL TO CRY SALT OF THE EARTH
MYBE jjf WAS JUST SAYING THAT THOSE ARE THE TUNES HE/SHE HAS NEVER SEEN. I'D LIKE TO SEE SOME OF BTB STUFF. LIKE "MY OBSESSION", "ALL SOLD OUT" OR "COMPLICATED". ESPECIALLY THE LAST ONE WOULD BE AWESOME WITH THE HORNSECTION. "SOUL SURVIVOR" ALSO ONE OF MY FAVES I THINK WOULD FALL FLAT LIVE. I THUNK JAGGER WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PULL IT OFF LIVE VOCALLY. SHE WAS HOT LET IT LOOSE VENTILATOR BLUES SILVER TRAIN DIRTY WORK HEARTS FOR SALE I'M MOVING ON FLIGHT 505
Shit, I forgot all about I'm Gonna Drive and Jump On Top Of Me. Now I remember just why I bought the singles for Voodoo... THE BSIDES!!
Its mindblowing to think of the reasons why the boys would leave Suck on the Jugular and Sweethearts Together on Voodoo, and yet those two killer bsides were left off the album. Would have been kickass to have those tracks on there. I'm willing to throw money down that more people would put Voodoo higher up on the charts had those two tracks replaced some of the sleepers.
Throwaways?? Thats harsh. Dance Pt1&2 has funk n spunk but SOTJ just doesnt cut it. Sweethearts sucks. You call Jump on Top of Me a sleeper but Sweethearts somehow has merit?? The two bsides are killer man. IT IS TYPICAL R&B, but I like those tunes for the same reason I love Bye Bye Johnny or Route 66. Nothing beats the Stones doing a Chuck Berry tune. For that matter, a Berry'esque tune. Both of those bsides are built on great riffs.
Child of the Moon would be great live. I always thought it sounded like a song to finish the night on, but thats never gonna happen. They always have to end with a hit. Tumbling Dice was the ending song at one club gig on Licks (cant remember the city) but its still part of the hotrocks in my book.
Child of the moon & We love you But not that much 60´s stuff... Hey, we´re today!!! Stealing my heart, Losing my touch, Let it Loose Sway, Suck on the jugular & Out of control again!!!!!!!
"IT IS TYPICAL R&B, but I like those tunes for the same reason I love Bye Bye Johnny or Route 66."
That's my point, these types of songs have been done to death.
And the above two Berry songs are far better than the VL bsides you mention anyway imo.
I'm not a huge fan of "Sweethearts" and can see someone disliking it. I just prefer it over WGD and JOTOM. They're are just too "auto pilot" and "run of the mill" for me to ever consider them interesting enough to hear live.
As for "Jugular" - I reckon it's great. I do however agree re "Dance". Great groove and spunk.

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.
