Yeah the vocals were a bit rough, but Sweet Little Rock n Roller had some great playing from Keith - why take it out?

EDIT: Wow, I just tried to find the videos of Keith from Crossroads and they've all had the audio removed for copyright sad smiley

It was a good version, but Keith fvcked it up a couple of times, and Clapton's solos were a bit off as well. That's probably why they dropped it.

Keith's vocals were brilliant, but he constantly forgot the last "sweet little rock'n'roller" in the choruses...

I was there both nights, and, compared to all the other great music that was played, I completely understand them dropping Sweet Lil RnRoller. Highlights for me were John Mayer & Keith Urban "Don't Let me Down" / acoustic Allman Bros on 2nd night / and Clapton's closing set where he just wailed... In comparison, Jeff Beck's set was dissapointing.

Bummer - that's the performance I'm most intrigued to check out. I'm quite surprised he's done a trad Irish ballad "Women of Erin" (don't make me spell it in Gaelic like in the track listing).

Eric's putting out a lot of stuff these days; in this year alone, he's released Old Sock, a new album, reissued Unplugged, and the 1974-75 sessions are also forthcoming.
