If this was indeed their last tour (hope not)...Where do you think the last concert should be?? Seems that London's an obvious choice but what about some very important places in Stones history like NYC, LA, Paris, Toronto...
I think that it would be the hottest ticket in rock concert history EVER....

Damn right it would be. I think London ("we're a british band" Keith) suits the Stones best. The Marquee would be a nice venue for one of the last shows in "Sleepy London Town".

There won´t be a last gig in 2006. The Stones will do more live shows, but maybe no more big world tour.

Even if it's indeed the last tour, why should its last concert be their last concert ever? I don't think they'll do their last gig in only one and a half year or so. Still plenty of time to decide:-)

I think the ROLLING STONES 'll never do a last show. They are no david bowie, frank sinatra or so much others who are specialists of that.

they'll probably have small scale tours, or surprise appearances. It'd be cool if they could go to the El Mocambo in Toronto again...

should be?

Its a no-brainer - London

However, London in 2006 will probably be in June making it too early in the European tour for it to be the last show (unless they do what they did in 1990 and add more dates there at the end of the tour)

This will (from everything Ive heard) be the last tour so in that case it'll be somewhere in Europe.

The problem is that on every one of their last few world tours, the location for the final show keeps changing as the tour progresses as they re-schedule postponed shows and add additional ones. Same with every tour I can remember since 1976!

so the Stones have discovered the secret of eternal life, then?

By the way, Bowie to my knowledge never announced any show as HIS last. He did announce the last Spiders show from the stage in London in 1973 ("this is the last show WE'LL ever do") and he stuck to it.
