I am increasingly gob smacked at the lack of understanding that people are showing on this post.
They for instance don't like Keith's new single, Trouble.

Hey man, I already posted twice that I like it, and I still like it. Why bother about those who don't like it. Just have a couple of smileys with beer and enjoy. And look forward to the new album.

Cool Hansie. that's the way to look at it. who cares what other people think, we like it !!! yay smileys with beer

If Doom & Gloom is "useless", Start Me Up is useless too. The Stones themselves are useless then.

Doom & Gloom is a fine Stones-song, it electrifies me every time I hear it. Wish I could say that of Trouble. If any output from the Stones-camp ever was "useless" then Trouble pops up number one. But it is fine with me, that some people really do like it. Maybe some of you are delightet, because it is a new song. Maybe your minds will change within a week, a month, a year. Maybe not. Go on and like, it´s alright with me, but PLEASE stop calling this song "great". It simply isn´t. At best it´s 4 minutes that dont hurt too much.

thumbs upsmileys with beer
Don't TAKE IT SO HARD HMS. These are the same people who find DON'T STOP and LET ME DOWN SLOW more exiting than DOOM and GLOOM: Hopeless cases...

Err wrong. Doom and Gloom is useless. Take it so Hard sounds like the stones even though its Keith, but doom and gloom sounds nothing like the stones even though it is the stones. give it some thought.
Trouble is pure genious something you will never understand winking smiley

How you can hold doom and gloom and start me up in the same light shows your ignorance. you know nothing about the rolling stones.

smileys with beersmileys with beer yay cheers

HMS and Out Of Time are spot on.
Maybe I prefer TROUBLE compared to DON'T STOP and LET ME DOWN SLOW after a while, but all in all these songs are filler...
So why release this weak song of the 15? It's a teaser..., but no pleaser.
Looking forward to the whole 15 songs album though!

And another thing keefriffhards:
..."you know nothing about the rolling stones"...mmmwwheeeee...thumbs down
It's not the rolling stones, but THE ROLLING STONES, THE GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD EVER in capitals and you know it BABY.

Did they want or expect a Dave Gilmore with Jimmy Page collaboration guested with David Bowie and Beyonce thrown in for good measure. From a Keith Track ???

No, and not once did anyone suggest something as ridiculous as that.

Love me Love me i'm thick.
Is that what your saying.

So apparently not worshipping everything Stones-related, and actually having an objective opinion is a sign of unintelligence and craving attention? This completely baffles me.

you people should really try to listen to gangster rap or something, if the stones music don't do it for you any more.

Because obviously if one isn't a fan of this new Keith track, they must be a die hard "gangster rap fan". Ridiculous. See, the new Tame Impala album was released this week for example; and I am enjoying that a lot more than this track...
...merely because the track itself isn't good. Doesn't detract from how big a Stones fan I am, I just like to have an objective opinion on everything I listen to; and in my opinion, "Trouble" is a really, really bad song.

Keith plays bass on every track?

Love his four-string chops. Words of Wonder springs to mind. And the best thing — maybe the only thing — about Brand New Car.

Very enjoyable video. I love the Rolling Stones. I think both Doom and Gloom and One More Shot were both really good songs and this is a stone groove. I like all three better than most anything on ABB, or the four Licks tracks, or most of the nineties material for that matter.

Yes much thanks Cristiano! Totally cool!! Sound was pretty decent on that video.

Totally amazed to see a Vevo video with only 39 views! Finally a reason to like them, Keith and not a bunch of botted views.

What's the content of the video, Cristiano posted?

it's blocked here in Germany, like so often.eye rolling smiley

3:17 or 4:17 min version?
one still picture or more?

be aware, the download version is miles ahead of the video audio.

It's a video with Keith, Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel playing Trouble, the 4:17 version. Perhaps you can watch by copying and pasting the URL through this website: [www.hidemyass.com]

it just hit my facebook page about 5 minutes ago. i liked it. it's simple and understated, as befits his age and the simplicity and understatement of the song. 3 dudes enjoying playing some rock and roll.

Tame Impala is phenomenal. Peter Parker is nothing short of a genius. The Less I Know The Better and Let It Happen are both phenomenal tracks.
