Last good song is Doom And Gloom for sure.
But last great song is either Far Away Eyes, Beast of Burden or Shattered. Whichever is the latest.

Sorry for my english ; I'm a french little boy (but I like it)

Though I find Some Girls a plastic, superficial and mediocre album, I think BOB stands out and can be considered to be the last really great Stones song.

The last great song for me was "You don't have to mean it". I always crank the volume up when I hear it. I'd also put "Brand New Car" up there as a great song.

If were going to go back to "Beast of Burden" then I have even more like "Tops" and "She was Hot.

The Storm.
And from the same period imo I Go Wild is a good classic Stones song...but that will make people laugh.

Well I'd have to say yes that 'Some Girls' is the last of the Stones albums to resonate or impact the pop culture scene around the world. So there a few tracks from it that are memorable and that could apply as the last great, classic song.

But 'Start Me Up,' (1981) to me is truly the last 'classic' released by the Stones. It's a signature tune for all later concert tours. Nothing else comes close for this case (not 'Doom and Gloom,' it's OK but no comparison really).

When I read the comments here, I must say the Stones have made an astonishing number of songs that are very highly appreciated by some fans, although I wouldn't care myself about some song, there always seems to be people that like it very much, this tells something about the band, they have been very capable of doing great songs even in the recent decades, on the other hand there are very few songs that nobody likes about, maybe Fight...

Too many great songs to name one as "the last great song" But I like Plundered My Soul very much as a "last great song"

Good points, Doxa. You and I think alike on this one. If we are going to refer to the likes of Beat Of Burden and How Can I Stop as being 'great', then we really must make the distinction between these very-good songs and the genuine classics: Satisfaction, Paint It, Black, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Gimme Shelter... and so on.

Yeah exactly - reminds me, when I hear Macca's "New", how ridiculous and uncritically songs can be written.
