Wow, wish I'd been there. I saw them five times way back when but, still...

Is this the festival that had the Stooges & Guided by Voices too? I'm happy Paul & Tommy are playing together again. I love the Replacements. Paul is such a good songwriter. It looks like you got a great show. Back in the day they were always kind of a crapshoot. Even if it was a trainwreck it was always interesting. I saw them once open for Tom Petty (before Tommy stole Petty's wife's dress & wore it on stage. Kicked off tour. haha.). The first 20 minutes were some of the most brilliant rock I've ever seen. Someone from the audience was screaming for "Black Diamond". Paul said "give me $10 & I'll play it.". The guy did. Awesome. Then the drugs wore off & the last 20 minutes were shambles. They basically just wandered off stage & that was it. I've missed them! I really hope they continue.

Holy crap, look at songs #15 through #20. There aren't many bands that could bring that kind of fire power.

And you could put together a great set list of the songs they didn't play: I'll Be You, Here Comes a Regular, If Only You Were Lonely, Valentine, Raised in the City, Skyway, Someone Take the Wheel, Within Your Reach, I Don't Know, Talent Show...eh...you get the idea...

I'm seeing them in a few weeks in Chicago and am totally psyched!
