Funny Remarks and Witticisms

What remarks have you heard of or read about any member of the Rolling Stones, past or present, that you found to be particularly funny even if that wasn't the original purpose of the statement. I don't want gossip or rumors like the blood exchange nonsense or who bedded whom.

I have two:

"Mick Jagger is about as sexy as a pissing toad." Truman Capote, 1972

"...Mick Taylor looking like a pre-Raphaelite cherub dropped into a nest of
gargoyles." NPR review of Ladies and Gentlemen..The Rolling Stones 2010

George Melly's wit was legendary.
He once asked Mick Jagger why his face was so wrinkled. "Laughter lines," the old rocker replied with a grin. Melly quipped: "Nothing's that funny."

George Melly’s description of the meeting between The Rolling Stones’s first manager, Andrew Loog Oldham, and Mick Jagger: ‘Oldham looked at Jagger as Sylvester looks at Tweety Pie.’

"As we say in England, it can get a bit trainspottery"

Keith Richards on Mick's Knighthood:

“I wouldn't let The Royals near me with a pointed stick, let alone a sword.”

I just think the below encounter is amusing. The Stones were having a beer in 1966 at a Parisian cafe on the rue St. Germain, when a journalist came up and asked them to each fill out a "Proust questionnaire." (Today the American magazine VANITY FAIR has a celebrity-answered Proust questionnaire on the last page of every issue):

"The were immediately attacked by a French journalist who handed them forms to fill out. Après tout, messieurs, the Beatles filled out theirs when they were here.

"`Where is John Lennon's questionnaire?' asked Mick as he examined the forms [copies of the Beatles' answers].

"`John Lennon was terrible,' sighed the little man. `His answers were so bad that Monsieur Epstein threatened to sue me if I printed them.' This amused Mick so much that he agreed to take the forms and fill them in."

When Mick said "Keith's a lovely shade of green tonight" in Philly in Sept 1981.

Keith's answer to this interview question is very funny.

"Do the girls still scream when you perform?"

Keith: "Yeah, they do. Not on stage, but when I perform".

June 9, 1975 People Magazine

“I only meant to do it for two years. I guess the band would just disperse one day and say goodbye. I would continue to write and sing, but I’d rather be dead than sing Satisfaction when I’m 45.”

what's that Keith clip where he is being interviewed by a giggly Japanese girl, and he looks totally hammered? Anyway, she asks him "what's the most interesting question you've been asked in an interview?". Keith shoots back "that one right there"

or something like that. Maybe I imagined it all

Think that was in "Shine a Light"
