That was my first Stones show!!!

NICE!!! Mine too! I was 16years old. Man, what a great night that was. I’ve seen the Stones a bunch since but there really is nothing like that first show. I had only become a die-hard 18 months earlier, so seeing them so soon after that was mind blowing.
If I live to be a million, I’ll never forget the versions of “The Last Time,” “Satisfaction,” “SDTD,” “Tumbling Dice,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Out of Control,” and “Little Queenie” they did that night. And man, did my mouth drop when I saw the vote was for “Star Star.” (I’d been purposely avoiding pages that showed the setlist and voter choice, because I wanted to be surprised.) Never in a million years thought they’d bring that song back to the setlist. And that was the first time ever heard “Crazy Mama” anywhere (inc the studio version.)
And when I saw that bridge come out of nowhere and lead to the b-stage…that original b-stage from 1997-1999 is still the best.

I was 21, but still not a die hard. I had London Years, Steel Wheels, Voodoo, Flashpoint, Stripped, and IORR. BTB wasn't even out yet if I recall - came out the following week, is that correct? Or had it just dropped? I can't remember that part. So for me, there were a TON of songs I'd never heard of before!!! But that show, that show SOLIDIFIED me as a Die-hard and knocked The Beatles out of my life pretty much for good (I used to listen to them EVERY year from Thanksgiving til Xmas - why I don't know. Always thought it was something about that time of year that made me wanna listen to them, but no more after that concert). I went out and started buying all the albums that I could. I think SF was the next one I got cuz so many songs were from that one - and back then was when they had the mini-LP CD versions that came in the plastic case, so that's the version I got. It cost more, but looked cool, and I stuck with that for the rest of the 71-81 catalog as well. Couldn't tell you the order I bought them in from there, but it's an obsession that's never stopped since! LOL

Yeah, that Bridge WAS something!!! I'll never forget them opening that night with Satisfaction!!! From that very moment on, I was freakin blown away!!! Here I am seeing the band for the first time, and they open with their BIGGEST hit?!?!!?!?!? What balls!!! What bravado and swagger!!! I mean for me, I still remember thinking, where the hell does it go from here?!?!? What's the encore if they're playing that now?!?? Who DOES that!!!?!?!!? The Rolling Fkin Stones do!!!!

Every show I've seen in Boston has been a favorite of mine. It's just a special place with the band for some reason. That one; opening night at Fenway of the ABB tour; opening night at Foxboro of the 2nd US leg of the same ABB tour when they opened with PIB!!!! Hot Damn!!!

I’ve seen the Stones 5 times since 1997. 4 times in Seattle and once in Tacoma. I can’t recall for certain, but I think the rare songs during those were Sister Morphine and Monkey Man.

Hmm, I don't know how rare my "lesser seen" Stones' songs are and I can't find the live Stones' database site I used to refer to.

Anybody got a link to a good one? I thought there was a link here on IORR, but I think that Time is on My Side just lists years a song was played and not how many times a song was played.

Thanks!

Infamy (Hershey 2005) - played 42 times
I Wanna Be Your Man (Brooklyn 2012) - played 22 times
Going Down (Brooklyn 2012) - played 4 times
Emotional Rescue (Toronto 2013) - played 20 times
Back Of My Hand (Hershey 2005) - played 15 times
