The CD was released only in Japan and Europe, in early 90's.

I couldn't find any japanese version on sale, but I remember seeing one some time ago, and the price was something like US$ 200.00.

The strange thing is that CDs are on their way out. Young listeners go for streaming and vinyl. I'm waiting for my whole cd collection to become worthless...

As I don't know the head of marketing of Sony I went for the easiest option: the artist...as he probably agrees with the release and his name is on the front cover.
If somebody releases an album, I don't always search for who's original idea it was to release it.
But for your pleasure:

Yes. A lot of those sets are out there.
We know. Most of the time it's repackaging. I know.
So, these sets can't be discussed anymore?
A lot of live albums are already released. Let's not discuss live albums anymore from now on.
A new stones album coming? They released a lot of albums...please, change the subject.

It's hard, I'm telling you.

To have the same idea = stealing from the one who did it first.
Ok.

ain't it funny simon and dylan are on the same record label. clearly its a label thing and neither dylan nor simon thought it up or took it from the other
Thanks Slewan, taking into account the 2cd titles and the rarities discs,I think the box set will be 47 discs.
