The best frontman of a band ever! sorry no debate, Little Richard,Elvis,James Brown,Michael Jackson ,Prince are in the same league but all were/are solo artists. Nobody in a band is as iconic,exciting and most of all enduring.
Just look at the videos from TAMI to glastonbury, no debate!

I kept thinking today while listening to the Hyde Park release and visioning Mick on the stage, that it is not possible that he is only a few years younger than my Grandma. It just doesn't seem possible that he is 70. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICK!

A letter to Mick Jagger, 70 years today:
What an adventure it has been!
You guys have defined the term Rock´n´roll with your music and your lives.
I´ve seen many huge acts live (the Who, U2, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, original Guns´n´Roses, Mike Oldfield, ZZ Top, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Deep Purple to name a few). After these concerts I´ve been thinking ”Sure, it was good or even excellent, but not as impressive as the Stones gig.”
Why? What did I miss compared to you?
Was it the spine shivering thrill and excitement just before you guys came onstage? Or, the tiny tears in my eyes, when Keith hit the opening riff? Or, the pure joy of being part of the best rock´n´roll party on the planet for two hours impressing my feelings with jumping, ”dancing”, singing and clapping?

Yes, it was all that.

Thank you for being the soundtrack of my life.
Have a nice birthday Sir Mick, the best frontman ever.
