JAGGER ANGERED BY DAUGHTER'S PLAYBOY PROPOSAL

ROLLING STONES star SIR MICK JAGGER is furious with his daughter ELIZABETH for accepting a $380,000 (GBP200,000) offer to pose naked for men's magazine PLAYBOY.

The 20-year-old British beauty - who currently models for LANCOME and Spanish clothing firm MANGO - has been assured the lucrative sum will ensure a set of "very tasteful" nude photographs.

But her father has reportedly expressed his distaste for the proposal - after his fears that Elizabeth is following in her mother JERRY HALL's modelling footsteps.

A family pal says, "Mick hit the roof when he found out. This just confirmed his worst fears about the world she was getting into."

She's not the type you would expect in playboy, is she? NOT THAT I KNOW THE TYPES OF FEMALES POSING FOR PLAYBOY!

Probably a lot of you will disagree.

I find this all so ironic...the man that once foisted @#$%& Blues, the song an the movie, as art has hit the roof over his daughter posing naked. More proof that the Stones are entertainent and nothing more, they are not social avatars or revolutionaries.

And anyone that thinks it is just Mick and that Keith as the rebel would think it was cool for his daughters is just fooling themselves.

What's so ironic about it? The Stones were rebels when they were young, don't deny it please. But that was 40 years ago and at the time, the world was a much "better" place for rebels. That people are not quite the same these days, when they are over 60, is a natural thing.
You say the Stones are no revolutinaries. Meaning that if they were, Mick wouldn't mind it. But what is so revolutionary in posing for Playboy? Nothing really.

"This just confirmed his worst fears about the world she was getting into." Hm, it's never about the world you get into, it's always up to you not to do some things. Though I don't think any Jagger's daughter needs this kind of publicity, Mick will hardly forbid her anything, as he seems a great father. But don't blame it on the "world she got into."

Agree! Also, I don't think that in this case is important wheter Mick can be considered rebel or not: he's a father, and he wants the best for his daughter, and he doesn't think that posing for playboy is the best for Lizzy...so, what's wrong about it? He should stop caring about his children just to keep is rebel image?

Sigh...I guess I did not get through in my post what I was thinking. Yes, I agree that there was a time when the thoughts of these guys were revolutionary. Yes thay are concerned parents. I agree with what both of the two posters above has said.

Why it is ironic to me is the things that were often protested about in the past were sexual repression ( and MJ has doen nude work for his äcting) and money making capitolism, now the prime force behind the tours. Nor did I mean to imply that irony is a bad thing; we have all grown older.

But I hope that the rest of us can show the insite that you two do. For intance, even thogh it appears to have affected his art as much has his arthritis, even though we all know it will shorten his life, there are still people that need to believe that Keith is this giant pirate rebel of rock and roll, swaggering his way through the world in an alcohlic daze. The irony for me is that these icons have have changed so much, and I think for the better.

Things that were revolutionary and emancipating in the 60's isn't anymore in 200's. However what you fought for yourself as a teen or twen you wouldn't want your kids to get into necesserarily, makes you a hypocrite somehow. Or do you encourage your 16 year old daughter to get stoned, screw with everybody (don't give me that aids argument now) and live for the day...ah, and forgot, PISS anywhere?
Anyway if have the feeling that Playboy did not emancipate woman rather the opposite and sexual liberation just helped the porn-industry-mafia to drown us in filthy abnormal discriminating garbage. Well, i would watch good porn....wouldn't show it to my 15 year old son though. We're all hypocrites.

Who of you is without sin throw the first stone........let it roll.

She sure is pretty. European attitudes toward nudity are so much more relaxed than those here in The Colonies. I mean, Lizzie's not doing hard core porn, f'Christ's sake! Besides, if she's got her mum's addiction to Chanel then she needs the extra dosh!

Lets hope they don't air brush the best bits out - which they probably will, (if MJ has anything to do with it).

No one mentioned this yet: Isn't $389,000 to Mick's daughter like $174.12 to you and me?

right dj, absolutely right. remember: this mick, who does not want any playboy "readers" to jack off to his daughter, once sang the lines "I can see that you´re just thirteen years old...Bet your mother doesn´t know you could scream like that..."

True, but ain't that drag that now when you are a grandpa and in your sixties that you are supposed to live up to and be consistent with the phrases you invented and shouted put almost 40 years ago when you were young and in your twenties. The presidents, among all the other ordinary people, don't need to do that but the rock stars do...

"Did you walk cool in the sixties daddy, did you fight in the war? .. or was it just a crazy fashion?.."

(But of course, Mick Jagger is also a victim of his own image and his own intentional refusal to "grow up with a grace" by acting in public like being a teenager.)

In all fairness to Jagger it might be the case that Playboy today is a different Playboy from in the 60's. And I only use "Playboy" as a metaphor. Were all this taking place in a different era Jagger might be more lenient. He more than anyone knows about the trappings in today's hi-fashion wolrd and the so-called glamorous lifestyle. Paparazzis didn't even exist back then. Stalking wasn't a course offered in city college yet.
However I am quite suprised by Keith's vehement reaction to any of his two daughter's stepping into showtime world. Via stage or via heartstrings.

Its not about money, it's about press. Big deal, its going to amount to a topless set of pics in black and white with scarves, hats and shit like that where you aint gonna see that nice trim bush.
