You´re right Rockman! But those threads often come and go with them finishing a tour and not knowing what´ll be the next shot...

Which reminds me that Dave Stewart posted a few times that an SH documentary was about to be released in November...now that the current "leg" is over, maybe Mick will give his OK ?

The best thing about the whole thing was Sass Jordan's legs in the video.

The Superheavy album is only £3.00 on amazon.co.uk. Cheaper than a packet of 10 cigarettes. I know what I'd rather, though. smoking smiley

THAT IS CORRECT!
THOSE WHO FAILED TO GIVE THIS DISC A SPIN WERE SILLY!

Can you imagine if this was some long rumored unreleased record?
Then every Stones fanatic in creation would be trying to get ahold of the recordings, paying monstrous high amounts for the recording and then singing its praises. But since it was actually released, and is authorized, too many people just want to say it is a bad product, waste of time etc. no problem, I have it, I find it immensely enjoyable and only laugh at those who fail to give it a real listen.

It does have some good songs on it although I'll admit I rarely listen to it.

I know the official party line on iorr is that SuperHeavy stinks, but I'm another who enjoyed it (though unlike GOO, I prefer the Indian-influenced tracks to the more Jagger-solo things like One Day One Night and Never Gonna Change). I think whoever said that it was a boredom-inspired project may have been right, but the results sound like everyone enjoyed making them, and Miracle Worker is one of my cheer-up tracks when I'm down - hearing "there's nothing wrong with you that I can't fix..." and thinking of Mick in that magnificently ridiculous pink suit usually makes me smile.

I bought it on vinyl and played it once. I found it uninteresting.

Who are those people who tell us what we have to listen, or to love to listen to ??? I do love Goddess and Superheavy, I find them FANTASTIC. You can go on with led zep and ac/dc if you want. Not a problem. And Alfie marvellous to my mind

I liked it too...and Miracle Worker is a real cheer-me-up song. I admire MJ for his work ethic. Never mind Superheavy's 2nd album when's KR's 3rd solo album coming out?

Currently @ Amazon.com

Brand New from Amazon: $5.86
New from Amazon re-seller: $2.17
Used from Amazon re-seller: $0.25

At least replacement for copies worn out by overplaying won't set you back to for.

Peace,
Mr DJA

I don't hate it, but I was never able to get into it. Too many cooks in the kitchen I thought. I love albums with a wide variety of influences and all that, but that album just felt all over the place and incoherent, with nothing to tie it all together. It didn't seem like the same band from one song to the next.

I think the best comparison for SH is Wingless Angels, not Keith's solo albums...
