Longest Stones live show ever ?

Hi folks,
as we are all waiting for the upcoming album AND tour of course,
I asked myself:

What was the longest Stones Show ever ?( in minutes)

Which show was the one with the most songs ever ?

What was the shortest Stones live show ?

To make it somehow comparible, I would suggest, that we should count from the beginning of the 69 tour till now....cause most live shows in the 60`s were just about 30 minutes or something.

1975 LA Forum and 1989 Atlantic City were pretty long...

Longest would have to be Knebworth, I'd have to look but they did close to 30 songs. Shortest maybe the Mtv 10 Spot, if you consider that a real show.

What was the MTV 10 spot?

MTV 10 spot was a theatre show in 97, that was partially shown on MTV
No security's Gimme Shelter is taken from this show.

I doubt that it was so much shorter than the +/- 1hr warmup shows for the Taod's Place or Toronto.

The Kurhaus (the Haque) show in '64 was really short. Less than 15 minutes.

At the Washington August 1994 opening shows they played 27 songs:

Argentina shows last 20-30 minutes longer than usual because of all the singing by the crowd, during and betwween songs:

First show in Phily 89 was long but there was a power outage. Have to be one of the 75 shows, one of the NY or LA shows clocks in at 160 minutes.

Atlantic City PPV in 1989 clocks in at something like 162 minutes. Opening night in Philadelphia 1989 was about 165-170 but there was a power cut for about ten minutes

The NYC and LA 1975 shows were mostly around 150-155 mins but were definitely shorter than both of the above

Knebworth was 145 minutes or so but consists of 30 songs (including a few bars of Country Honk), making it the most SONGS played at any one show.

the MTV 10 Spot performance was an 11 song set, but no way was it their shortest show. (it was also a show specifically filmed for a TV appearance, so its hardly the same as a concert) The warm up shows at Toads Place in 1989 and the Horseshoe Tavern in 97 were also 11 songs each. Its hard to say which is the shortest as of the 3 of them the only one thats circulating in complete form is the 1989 gig. However, many of the shows from 1969-71 would not have lasted an hour either.

Most Stones tour shows in the mid 60's would barely have lasted half an hour. Then there were the ones - like Scheveningen - which were abandoned due to rioting.

When they played here in Belfast in 1964, the show was abandoned during the 3rd song, after about 8 minutes. I dont know of any others that ended that quickly!

I was able to track down the setlist from that show in my local newspaper library

(Ulster Hall 31st July 1964) -

they played I Wanna Be Your Man, Its all over now, I jyst wanna make love to you.

It was their first of two shows that evening! The other one took place 30 miles north in Ballymena, without any major incidents!

That goes also for the Miami show which was PPV-ed, and must have lasted longer because of the introduction of guests, the switching to the mobile stage etc. (I won't count the Whoopi introduction, that was just a bad warmup act to make the Stones look better winking smiley.)

Salar,

die längste Stones-Show? Gar nicht wichtig! Viel wichtiger: Wie geht´s? bzw. Wo warst du??

" At the Washington August 1994 opening shows they played 27 songs:

That WAS along show. They played a lot of stuff that got dropped shortly thereafter or relegated to a "rotator" position. It was f-cking HOT there too.
