You can feel the energy between the band and the crowd.
This show must be released on an official DVD with supreme sound quality!

Just watching it. It's fantastic. Apparently the BBC was hacked into by a Stones fan who liberated the whole recording. Anyone else heard that story?

Reading at the hot stuff section about this subject this must be the right conclusion OR an insider/stones fan. There's certainly a very interesting story behind this.

Sorry...too much posts these days.
I tried to cancel this post, didn't work.
Hope I want get crucified for this.
Bit of harsh tone on some threads on this board at the moment.

Harsh tones on a message board aren't going to hurt you and you're certainly not the first person to double post something. Besides, we don't crucify folks around here anymore. We go for tar and feathering these days, but you realized your mistake so I think we can give you a verbal warning. Just don't start a Sons of Beatles thread, the punishment for that is a red hot poker in the... well just don't do it. There's also the "Emotional Rescue" punishment, which is basically where somebody kicks you in the junk until you sing falsetto. That's mainly reserved for people who don't mark off topic posts with an OT though.

Look, while we tend to frown on crucifying these days where deemed appropriate this is still a viable option.

What a great opener JJF is. And what a great crowd. Ironic, not necessarily Stones fans but the crowd of the tour no doubt.

this is such a great show. can somebody point me to a free program that will capture the video from youtube (I can get audio) and won't fill my computer with bad stuff?

How badly does this kick the shit out of Shine a Light?

OK I'm going with YTD video downloader, free from CNet. It says it will take about an hour. Hopefully, no watermark or anything.

I use JDownloader and copy the link - then you can choose the quality setting (and download in mp3 too)

[download.cnet.com]

be careful when installing you have to UNCHECK all the options or it will install toolbars and all sorts of other crap. But it seems to have worked for me and I have a clean copy .

The Downloader Helper I have is a Mozilla Firefox Add-on. I found it through Google under Firefox Add-ons. The name of it is Download Helper. Installed in less than a minute. It puts an icon at the top left of the Firefox screen. Start the video in YouTube, you will then see the icon at the top left of the browser screen moving, then right click it and choose the listed video under desired quality, choose Desktop as download loaction. I am not computer savvy at all and I did this. One other thing is that after getting the Download Helper Add-on you will need to download VLC Media Player. You know it is the right one when you see the orange and white traffic cone, which is their trademark. This is one of the best Firefox Add-ons available and super easy to download set up and use. The Glastonbury show took over an hour to do, but now I have a copy on my laptop.

Seconded - this is what I use, easy and effective. Glad I used it on some of the Hyde Park videos before they were pulled.
