Mick Taylor x 4 tunes @ 2nd show Staples Center = BEST SHOW OF TOUR.
In other words:
SWAY + CYHMK + MIDNIGHT RAMBLER = SATISFACTION.

No Expectations
Since I only saw Oakland and San Jose I'll go with San Jose. Loved Fogerty aaaaand Bonnie Raitt!
yes, it's all a matter of simple math; performance is irrelevant. The show with the most unique setlist is the best show.Quote

Agreed...With the added excitement of the first time Taylor gave us more than 2 songs and CYHMK for the first time together.

Well, I don't know how ANYONE can say Boston #1 was one of the worst when we got MT on a killer SWAY with Lisa and Bernard harmonizing!! IT WAS AWESOME! The energy was high, 22 songs, a long set that cooked all the way through.
Boston #2 was through the roof as far as fan energy fueling the band to heights I've not seen since 1998. All Down the Line, man, it felt like 1972!! And of course the vocal and added Keith vocal on Memory Motel.....these days it really does not get much better! I think i t's a given that the band loves Boston in a special way!!

LA # 2.
I was at the 4 So Cal shows and DC.
Anaheim # 2 was good with Dave Grohl. But I would have to put LA 4. Mo Mick Tayluh.
.. MR was the highlight of the Brooklyn show. I'm a Taylorite but that's the truth. Funny thing is if you look back at the 2012 shows they look so well rested, you can see the toll of even a short tour. I had great seats for Philly 1, I think it was the sleeper show from 2013, well executed guitars, Keith seems more animated each night. For setlists LA 2 was the show I wish I'd attended.Quote

Best?
Brooklyn... The first.
Taylor wasn't even there.
Again... Brooklyn.

I was also at the 4 So Cal shows (and Vegas), and would agree that Grohl was quite good at Anaheim...something I wasn't quite expecting to be honest.
But no question LA # 2 was the tops, and if that's the last Stones show I ever see then so be it.
Thats not a bit rough, if anyone was at the shows you see how right your statement is. I only saw Philly 2, but it was so immediately evident how much Taylor elevated the Stones, even on a really good night for them, that there is no logical reason he wasn't included from Midnight Rambler on. The amount of stupidity seeing Taylor sit behind Charlie during Jumpin' Jack Flash, ready to go on and not being allowed to, can't be put into words. You could tell Taylor was itching to be on stage whenever possible, and that it was clearly the Stones that said "no, we are going to use you as a selling point for the tour, but you will be grossly underused." Sorry, whether a Taylorite or not, there's no reason a former living member was used so sparingly, especially if they wanted to be out there.Quote

OK, that might have been a bit rough....but I just thought MT deserved a lot more exposure, and not just one time..but in actual fact, even 4 songs are not enough.

Are those all you "best" or is the second group your "worst" list?
