The Rolling Stones tweeted about half hour ago that Gary Clark Jr. will be the guest tomorrow in Boston, he is not a bad guest at all!

Good guitar player. I like his style

That is very cool. I'd love to be there for that. However, if I were to be there, I'd hope for something other than Going Down. Nothing wrong with it and it rocked at the Pay Per View, but I'd prefer a Stones original that Gary could tear up.

As someone who has been living in Austin for 3 years and saw him play a little before he started to really take off, it's great to see him getting his dues.

I remember seeing him last year 3 times, each time the crowd had literally grown about 10 fold ... 200 in a club, 2000 at Stubb's, then 20000 at ACL festival.

Good for him, he was amazing at the White House concert, probably where Mck spotted him and I remember guessing he'd be the guest in Brooklyn ;-) Too bad his album is too long and has pretty tepid filler "soul" material :-(

hey now - he doesn't credit for drawing all 20k at the fest. auditors are paying attention here.

I was fortunate to see Gary last year in NOLA, a great player. I much prefer his presence to Peter Wolf's or S. Tyler's. That said, I'd rather Mick T. get an extra song tomorrow night vs. this irrational need to bring in other " guests."

Got to be something bluesy, i think. Not sure if it will be a Jagger/Richards or a cover.

I love Gary Clark. He WAS great in Brooklyn, the 3 guitars all lined up playing was terrific! Hope it is Tyler for Friday. I read that Aerosmith was across the world in Australia as of last week so it's not really looking too good for Joe & Steven to join the Stones.

So, will they wait until Thursday to announce Fridays' guest?

For me a good choice would be either You Gotta Move or Slave!
