OT Rod Stewart locations

I'm visiting London shortly and would like to visit a couple of places with Rod connections connections from my youth.
First is the Gasoline Alley steps as seen on the album centre spread. I think they may be in North London.
Second location I'm looking for is the pub where the centre spread photo was took for the album Smiler.
Can anybody help please?

I believe Rod's first home was in St.John's Way which he's called Highgate but is really in Archway. Not sure where the pub or steps are.

You have The Intrepid Fox pub on Wardour Street, Soho. It is where, I believe, Rod and Ronnie first met. However, it's now, I think, a restaurant.

The steps also adjoin Springfield Avenue with Grosvenor Gardens, London N10, Muswell Hill area.
