Do Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan or Tom Waits (artists who have been around as long or almost as long as the Stones) need to bring the latest young thing on stage with them? No.

Do you think Keith even knows who this guy is? Or cares? I know many disagree here, but to me the efforts by Mick to seem "relevant" and "contemporary" come off as forced and sometimes embarrassing. Do Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan or Tom Waits (artists who have been around as long or almost as long as the Stones) need to bring the latest young thing on stage with them? No. They are secure in who they are. I understand that the Stones need to sell out bigger venues, but if that were so important they could, oh I don't know, lower ticket prices or something.
