That's a lot of favorite(s)

My favorite riff is Jumpin' Jack Flash, it's the greatest rock n roll riff ever written.

Probably Stray Cat Blues would come out close to the top for me... there are so many choices though.

I tend to agree. Then again, the Stones have many cool intros.

Ventilator Blues is another good one, btw.

And to think we owe it to Bill...

Anyway, "Under My Thumb" from Still Life for me, haven't been able to get over it since I first heard it in 1982! Quite like the Neighbours intro too.

'Satisfaction' for starters.

So many more...

Opening chords to 'Under My Thumb' always impressed with.

The opening line to 'Ruby Tuesday' immediately draws you in.

Always intrigued by the Charlie's drums and Mick's vocal sounds on intro to SFTD.

Love intro to 'Street Fighting Man.'

Of course, there's always 'Brown Sugar' & 'Start Me Up.'

I could go on...

I've always loved the peacefulness of the Monkey Man intro..

which is rudely interrupted by that guitar..

But there are so many...and that's the beauty of the listening to the Stones.

I'll just add that I do have a preference to the 65-74 period.

I know what you're saying but you have to balance that with the incredible slap back echo they got on it which required a reputed 87 takes.

The half tempo 3/4 pitch delay on the actual creeking of the hinges was nothing short of masterful. Others attempted it. Oh yes, George Martin, Bruce Botnik, Brian Wilson - they all tried but failed miserably. For that moment alone modern music owes the Stones a lot.

Although it's been played to death, the intro to Tumbling Dice is amazingly elegant.
