Yes, Adele would suit them very well.
There's one thing to consider about the supposed album of live duets, which is that with a few exceptions the duets just haven't been very good. Never mind them not being worthy of the Stones, they aren't worthy of the guests either. If I were Gwen Stefani I wouldn't want that performance issued on CD.

Marianne and Anita singing backgrounds in SFTD, now that would be really something...Maybe Bianca, Marsha and Jerry and some others could join them?

Difference is Anita and Marianne sing on the studio version.

I'd laugh if they trotted out Celine Dion for the next Toronto show. Isn't CD Canadian?

The Rolling Stones wish to Lady Gaga, Adele, Paloma Faith and Florence Welch for concerts in Hyde Park
The Rolling Stones are celebrating 50 years of career, and what better way to make a concert where guests have as Lady Gaga, Adele, Paloma Faith and Florence Welch.
When the Rolling Stones invite you to do something, no matter who you are or what concerned the invitation, simply accept! , That's why the boys have been inviting musicians to join their concerts, the last "lucky" was Taylor Swift.
Well, it has emerged that Mick Jagger has invited Lady Gaga, Adele, Paloma Faith and Florence Welch to accompany them during their performances in Hyde Park.
On July 6 of this year and during that week, The Rolling Stones will be performing in Hyde Park where we could witness the return of Adele who has been hiding lately since it seems that Mick convinced her to go on stage with them.
Likewise, Lady Gaga who is recovering from hip surgery may be making a comeback with the Stones. Finally, in addition to Paloma Faith, Florence Welch, vocalist of Florence + The Machine could be also a guest.

I thought we all agreed that Florence was - by far - the best guest on this tour.
I'm not a fan of hers, but she was brilliant on GS.

...'all agreeing' is a bit of a stretch, here; (f.i.: I didn't get to vote... )
but I noticed & realize that it's the general concensus here.
Which, with all due respect, doesn't mean anything to me -
from where I was sitting (nosebleeds), the experience of her guest spot was GRUESOME - my ears started bleeding as well...
To each his/her own; but I had plenty of music in my life to stand by my opinion.
And btw: why bother speculating... I think it's obvious we'll be getting Gary Clark jr. on July the 6th.
And judging by the PPV I saw after the London gigs, plus his debut album I recently obtained: that would be well deserved for him, and someting to look forward to by me/ us!
