Hahahaha. It hasn't improved with age. Although the "futuristic" cars in it look disturbingly like what is coming out today. Mick the profit, I mean prophet!

I saw the flick in 1992 and even back then I thought that the effects and props are obsolete and old fashioned. That's 21 years ago. The story and all is also a pile of shit. Bad movie.

I beg to differ with some of the posts above. I've enjoyed Freejack enormously each time I've watched it. It's exciting and well-acted, and has very cool sets and a nice tongue-in-cheek humor running through it. And Mick is fantastic in his role.

I enjoy watching the Mick in it - not because it's good acting, just because it's the Mick.

Filmed in Atlanta Mick was all about town in local eatery during filming.

I remember the times when you had a contemptuous remark about Mick in nearly all of your posts. Or is this one, only hidden?

Not that I like that movie by myself....

It's cheesy, but I like it. I saw it the night it first debuted on HBO, and maybe it was because I was only 12-13, but I thought it was pretty cool. And I was still a few years from being a Stones fan (but I did know who Mick was), so my opinion wasn't affected by any love for Mick. I was more familiar with Estevez and Russo than Jagger. I still enjoy it out of nostalgia, but it was never a great movie, and time hasn't been kind to Freejack. But those things make it pretty fun to watch also.

I was going to stick my nose in earlier (and actually typed it but erased) to say this had to be someone else they were thinking of... but I was already in trouble on another thread with someone, so I hesitated/erased.... BUT...

they must be thinking of someone else.... because ever since I have been on this board I have only seen with sssoul be one of the kindest posters on this board, full of love and light... and I have never read a dim word to say about anyone.

Thank you for being one of the best posters I have ever read here with sssoul. And yes, I know I get in trouble a lot, and I cant hold a candle to the best posters here, but it doesnt stop me from admiring them.
