Street Fighting Man as opening Song.

Street Fighting Man would be the perfect opening song, and is hardly the 'obscurity' its treated as. At least for Glastonbury an Hyde Park Shows, GOOMC great to play but not a strong opener..

Absolutely. There is a thread about openers.....GOMC is great for the B stage, or whatever, but not as an opener. SFM was a popular choice. I love any idea that takes a strong track, that has become a seven minute warhorse, and cuts it back to three minutes of danger.

It worked really well in 2002-2003. Saw a few shows like that. Went into If You Can't Rock Me. Started the show on a high note.
