I think I'm fairly relieved that I couldn't get a ticket just now, although I did try.

I have shit to do and can't be flying across the country!

I had the link bookmarked. Someone here (I forget who, my apologies. edit: it was stoneslib. Thank you!) kindly provided me with the link a few weeks ago. I believe it is the 85 dollar link on rs.com which is currently unavailable to access, unless you had it bookmarked.

damn...got to find a cheap flight!

Just now pulled $85 tickets for Toronto and gave them back. Just went from Colorado to Las Vegas then Anaheim. Had to come back home and go back to work.. bummer. Someone go and get the 85's and have a blast. We sure did!!!

I was checking Kijiji, stubhub etc. and saw prices falling. I was going to go down and scalp anyway, I figured as soon as the show started I might have been able to get a good deal.

The thing about Stub Hub, etc. is that they still tack on a $70 service fee plus shipping and whatnot. A pair of tickets that were listed for $240 each came to $640 with fees!

If you buy tickets at the arena, be very careful. There were many people outside the O2 on the second night who were stuck outside because they bought counterfeit tickets. If you have any doubt whatsoever, show the seller the cash, but insist on making sure your guest gets in cleanly before you hand over the money for both tickets. If the seller won't do that, you are taking a huge risk. If you buy from stubhub, go early, make sure the tickets are good. If they aren't, call Stubhub, and they will do their best to find a comparable set of tickets. That's the one benefit of stubhub. Often, they have a table onsite so that you can actually talk to someone if you have any problems with tickets.

I've been lucky so far but I've never spent a lot a show. I heard about the O2 and funnily enough in Jersey at the hotel I met a couple in the bar who had bought scalper fix for the 12/12/12 show and they were fakes. Somehow they managed to blag their way in

I'm going to have to take off work and keep checking until I score one's for Chicago I guess.
