It's a 59 reissue not a vintage guitar, just consumer crap. I don't know why he doesn't have his own, Keith should send someone to the warehouse and dig out a 50's Les Paul and early 60's SG and give them to him. They've got more guitars than anyone could ever imagine, Brian's stuff, Jaggers SG's from the 70's. Taylor loves early 60's strats like on "Time Waits". They should show him some love, classic case of you can't take it with you. I may not be wealthy but I'm more generous to my mates than these guys.

I find it "interesting" that Mick's manager (Jeff Allen) made sure he got credit for loaning Mick the Guitar...

He's not playing his own guitar?

@ 71tele:
As far as I understand it JA owes one of MT's Gibsons. Don't know why, and if its the one Taylor currently plays on.

You're misinformed. Or maybe easily misled.
As I tried to point out above, the statement is from an unreliable source.

Nobody should pay any attention to this nonsense from Jeff Allen. He's not involved with Mick Taylor's management and has taken possession of the domain against MT's wishes.

Sundance: That's rather strange. How could Taylor allow someone to take over his domain name without his permission?

Taylor is playing an early 7-tees Ampeg and a priceless guitar. I hope he will also sound again like he did in the 7-tees. I'm not interested in the legal proceedings of this case. Music is made for ears.

He didn't really allow it but it did happen. He has made it quite clear the domain will have to be returned to him.
The other party seems to be waiting for a lawsuit.

That's nonsensical. Ownership is a pretty straightforward matter, not something you can argue about in musical terms. You chose to bring it up in the first place.
The guitar is Mick's. It was given to him, not to anyone else.
