...Without Charlie, Mick, Keith or Ronnie - there is no Stones. It would be an insult to the fans. Mick Taylor is good guitarist in his era songs but he cannot replace Keith - NEVER !! ..or even Ronnie on the Ronnie era songs, and and lets get this straight - Taylor is not even a member of The Stones anymore. The band had plenty of great recordings after he left - you Taylorites are nuts.
Were they insulting the fans when they played without Brian for those few shows in 1964?

I was thinking of just this the other day, but since Ronnie has been a class act with MT lately, I vowed to be nice to him. If he was just sick sick for a particular show, it is a tantalizing thought, though.

Cancel the show.Taylor needs weeks to rehearse the songs before taking them on. He is good, but for the band to work properly he need big time rehearsals. Anyway, I prefer Ronnie, with Taylor joining on some songs. More than two, but not for the whole show.
