Among the working titles are: "You Should Have Seen Her Ass," "Star-@#$%&," "Separately," "Four and In," "Give Us a Break," "Comin' Down, Again," "Waiting for a Friend," "Angie" and "First Thing."

Some stuff still hasn't surfaced!

And the RS follow-up article on August 16th, 1973 : [www.rollingstone.com] : "Stones Next LP to be Called 'Goat's Head Soup'"

Quote

The recording is completed and approved. Included are ten original Jagger/Richards songs, of which only "Silver Train" has been recorded previously (by Johnny Winter). The other nine titles are "Starfcker," "Hundred Years," "Can You Hear the Music?" "Through the Lonely Hours," "Angie," "Hide Your Love," "Crisscross," "Do Do Do Do" and "Dancing with Mr. D," described as a "voodooish reggae."[/b]

The bolded didn't make the cut finally...replaced by "Winter" and..."Coming Down Again".

And the GHS review on August 31st, 1973 : The recording is completed and approved. Included are ten original Jagger/Richards songs, of which only "Silver Train" has been recorded previously (by Johnny Winter). The other nine titles are "@#$%&," "Hundred Years," "Can You Hear the Music?" "Through the Lonely Hours," "Angie," "Hide Your Love," "Crisscross," "Do Do Do Do" and "Dancing with Mr. D," described as a "voodooish reggae."

Interesting to see how Through The Lonely Nights and Criss Cross Man almost made the album. The Stones must've pulled them right at the very end.

Bad journalism.

Yeah but not instead of "Coming Down Again" and "Winter" that replaced "Criss Cross Man" and "Through the Lonely Nights". I think we could have done without "Hide Your Love" since it's just Mick goofing around on the piano basically.
