I remember people here saying Midnight Rambler in Charlottesville back in the Bigger Bang tour was a mess. Although I believe that was the first song they came back to after the concert was delayed because of a bomb threat.

I was there for that and it wasn't pretty, but I've seen far worse things.

Maybe she didn't sound good live, but she was sure as hell one of the few highlights of the DVD.

Not sure if anyone else noticed but the beginning of Tumbling Dice from last night was also very shaky, I thought they might stop it at one point but Chuck looked like he coached Mick through it.

There were no trainwrecks in 1975/1976.

Trainwrecks were common in 2007 though.

Worst train wreck? Easy. The Bigger Bang tour. Pick any show.

I totally disagree. In 2006, they were great. You couldn't be more wrong. Have you even listened to those shows? I was at two shows and they were excellent. Great arrangements and everything was fantastic.

Here's a show from 2006 ... train wreck?... come on

Mick's look at :055 says SWAYZ is crazy

The joint Stones/New Barbarians version of Jumpin' Jack Flash from the late show of the Canadian Institute for the Blind benefits. Keef just can't seem to find the last note of the riff. Sounds like he broke a string, fell way out of tune, and tried to push on through anyway.

Live With Me wasn't bad at all, at Beacon.
The same song was a letdown with Sheryl Crow in Miami 1994, but Beacon was allright. Christina Aguilera has a good voice.

i will NOT tolerate any watering-up of a train-wreck thread with mentioning of something from the golden years.

Heard that before - don't remember it being quite so painful. Charlie really did take some time to realize that a square peg just doesn't fit in that round hole. I'd like to think that they were having a good laugh up on stage as this was happening.

The YT links only get "parsed" if they follow this format :

He he, Mick was out there. It was kinda cool, though, because in a weird way the chorus fit there, while Lisa and Bernard were singing the verses grinning smiley
