You know nothing about marketing.. Look at the empty seats and predictable set lists.. everone goes "gaga" over one rarity in the set like "factory girl".. Brainwashed simpletons... Yes I paid $85. and if I get an "obstructed view seat" a fact NOT mentioned on the intial offer upon which I acted and paid, I will seek a better location. If one is not available then, pursuant to laws in the state in which I attend the show, will seek a refund.. one should be told of the possibilitya of "limited views" prior to purchase.. sorry, I won't laugh if/when MJ makes a joke on stage about ticket prices and how we should all be happy that we were financially raped for an opportunity to share the same air as the "boys"
Thanks for the compliment about being a comedian. I would like to do that. Maybe the Vegas act aka the " world's greatest R/R band" can point me to where I sign up....

OMG what a whiner. Only about half of their set was warhorses. You want them to play all rarities and no warhorses? Then what of the casual fan who wants to hear the big hits. Funny when I look at Macca's setlist most of the songs he played were big hits for The Beatles, Wings or Himself. Those big hits aren't warhorses?

Mick,,,, er Frank.... list the "lesser played" songs played thus far... probalby shorter than MJs "todger" ( at least based on what KR bio says)

Roughly half of the set is lesser played songs. You are mistakenly thinking that if they play a song over two tours it is a commonly played song. They work songs in and out of the set all the time. Compare the last show with a show from the Licks tour. Lots of different songs, but it doesn't suit your argument so you will ignore it and when you go to a Macca concert you will sing na na na na Hey Jude for the nine millionth time and pretend it is fresh and new.

I'd like to attend a PM show but the ones scheduled in my area are sold out.. plenty of stones tix tho.

I have family members that see him every time he comes around so I doubt it is that hard to get tickets. Maybe you just stink when it comes to purchasing tickets. Maybe you are trying to connect to ticket sites using a Commodore 64.
Frank M please explain how half the set is lesser played songs. I'd love to see you back this up with fact rather than running your mouth.

Well I guess your too dumb to figure out that if they are constantly working songs in and out of the setlist then many of them will be lesser played songs.
Pretty simple if you use your head a little.

Mick, err.... Frank:
Constantly working in songs? Really? Where do you get your "smoke"? They bring in MT to possibly "work in some songs and use him for one and one only-THAT"S DUMB, 'bro..
I am not dumb, but I can read... and many many of the posters on this board and others read the same thing...same formula 16-17 usual songs, 1-2 "new" songs, and one or two "surprises"..... ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....one more thbing mick,,, err frank.. check out who has sold out shows... nuf ced... I can still get 8 tix closest to the stage for just about ANY stones show right now..
Can't do the same for PM... can you? right now? pull up 8 premium for PM? of course you can't....

And again Franky Boy stop running your mouth and name the lesser known songs. Cause I don't see a Let it Loose, Dance Little Sister, TWFNO, Winter, Hot Stuff, Slave... Do you?

LOL steverogan! I guess in Frank's world he can't comprehend two reasonably intelligent people reading a post and finding that you agree with the other person is saying. I am sure you are a wonderful man but alas I have a giant crush on someone else.

is it fair to say the beatles are beating the stones this week?

That's why the Stones need to record one last great album, so they can surge ahead of the Beatles and be declared the greatest rock and roll band of all time. I'm sure I read that here somewhere.

That's correct, it's the silent legacy war that nobody wants to admit to. Paul is calling the Stones out! Time for the Stones to respond with more rarities! And of course a new album, maybe two?

Do you mean to imply that The Beatles are standing in the way of The Stones, holding them back so that they can't move forward to their full glory?

A man crush has nothing to do with being gay so instead of me proving to be a homophobe it is you who proves to be the proverbial "dumber than a box of rocks".

Everytime I argue with Steverogan Rambler jumps in and vice versa. It doesn't take a genius to figure out you are the same person posting under two different names. Perhaps if you had enough confidence in your arguments you wouldn't need a second identity to back you up.
And you certainly are no genius. I didn't even know steverogan's name until today. so if I have agreed with him in the past I didn't read the name. And I can assure of one thing about me, I may lack many things but confidence is not one of them. And one of the major influences in my life that taught me to have confidence and swagger from when I was a kid; My favorite band, The Rolling Stones. So that's why just like in any good family, I am disappointed to see they are lacking the confidence in playing more their catalog.

No Frank. It's my Partner who I have been with the past 5 years and because we live in the great state of NY, we are actually hoping to get to see the Stones in the fall as a married couple. That is if the ticket price debacle doesn't kill a fall tour.

Yeah, alot of hostility here .
Maybe it's all the negative feedback to the Stones tour?

I'm Boston Irish, and as you know, Boston/Bostonians is the only city/people, that, if you f*ck with us, like the 2 scumbags who atacked us in April, on Patriot's Day during the marathon, that will shut down the entire city, stop everything, and look for you until we find you. Which is exactly what happened to the dead guy aka "speedbump" because his little brother ran him over in a car, and "shipstain" because the little murdering puke, who put the bomb down next to an 8 yo and killed him, was caught cowering in a boat just like the gutless POS he is.Please NEVER assume you know anything about me Frank.Never.Ever.

I generally don't believe in reporting people either but since this post of yours seemed so crazy I took the liberties to report it.

By the way why did you respond to a post where I was responding to Rambler? Then you wonder why people will think you two are the same person. Do you even know who you are?

Good gawd I had forgotten this was a McCartney thread.

There's something in the air today--every thread I have opened thus far is full of malaise and contempt, and no amount of levity can balance things out. What do you make of it?

Yeah, alot of hostility here .
Maybe it's all the negative feedback to the Stones tour?

Anyways, I'm California English/Scottish/Dutch.
I drink pints of ale, sometimes eat haggis and play bagpipes, and smoke lots of weed.smoking smiley

Hah! I knew there was a reason I always liked your posts, Hairball. I've a touch of Scottish in my lineage as well--the wild-eyed artistic element....

Funny how Rambler44 engages me everytime I argue with Steverogan. Either he has a giant man crush on Steve or he is an alternate identity that Steve brings out when he is losing an argument lol.
Wow not only are you a jackass but now you prove to be a homophobe. Real class act you are Frank.

? I have no idea who rambler44 is. period.reported to moderator- please tell this dude to stop with ridiculous suppositions based on nothing but his/her wild imagination. Thank you. Steve

No please don't report me no not that pleeaaaase!!! Jesus lighten up man. I'm not going to call the CIA because I suspect you two are one in the same. Maybe you are two different people and if so I apologize but it seems rather odd that Rambler only has about sixty posts and he seems to argue with me everytime I argue with you.

Already did it... Im done with you

Done with me? Even both of your identities couldn't defeat the great FrankM in a debate? Maybe you should have tried three lol.
Frank I do not agree with reporting you. so maybe you will finally see I am not the same person as steverogan. It's totally against everything I believe in to rat someone out. I am a NY Italian! So I am not done with you. I look forward to our sparring match.

Well I'm a NJ Italian (half anyway) so it should be good sparring considering how stubborn us Italians can be lol.

steverogan this is a site for Rolling Stones fans to have discussions and sometimes good natured back and forth disagreements. You just took it to a level that is really uncomfortable. and as a native New Yorker I know full well what it feels like to have your city attacked and in our case we lost 5,000 people. Let's all take a deep breath and go back to arguing about setlists.

People on this board respond to others to whom the original post was not addressed.
I am not sure what exactly there is to report but that is your perogative.
My post was crazy? How so? I stated facts and truths while you made up lies about me for the world to believe. I have no idea who rambler44 is never met the person. I have one, not 2 accounts as you stated... and never lied about you. I reported you for lying and/or making false statments about me. Lying about a person, in a published format is irresponsible and meets at least half the requirements for slander... keep posting and you'll meet the legal requirements for that.
Once again never assume anything about me and post it on a board unless you know it to be true. Never. Ever. and, btw, the city of Boston did do all the things I mentioned in my post and I am damn glad and proud of the city, the law enforcement, and citizens who caught the 2 terrorists who tried to scare us. Boston strong!
